Music is the best form of magic- that can re-energize everyone.That’s exactly what happened on Friday in Dallas. Applauz productions delivered an amazing high energy music concert by music sensation Karthik. This south India’s no.1 singer casted his music spell over the audience for 4 hours. No wonder Karthik is praised as the most melodious singer of south India and handpicked by none other than AR Rahman. This multitalented and south India’s no.1 singer entertained the audience with his fullband accompanied by popular singers Shaktisree and Malavika. Together they sang lot of chart busters from Boys, Happy Days to Dookudu. Showing his classical music expertise, Karthik sang some classics from Shankarabharanam to Maha Ganapathim Bhaje. They ended the concert with some high energy item numbers from Arya 2, Gabbar Singh and Chennai Express.

The concert started promptly at 8:00pm at Irving Arts center and lasted till mid night. This is the first time Karthik is touring USA with his band and he did not disappoint. Some of the best moments are where he sang popular songs in faster notes and involve audience in giving him chorus. Everyone enjoyed singing along with Karthik and his music band. Everyone isawed when he introduced Indian bass guitar prodigy Keith Peters in his band. Keith Peters played for AR Rahman from Roja to recent movies.
