People For Lok Satta (PFL), organization of NRI supporters of Lok Satta, launches it new website (http://peopleforloksatta.org ) on the Republic day of India. The site was launched by Ms. Tiruman Sheshamma, first elected woman representative from Lok Satta. Shegot elected as ward member from Matlam Madal, Krishna district in the year 2010. She shared her election experiences at the event and thanked PFL for extending the help in constructing water plant for the people of her constituency. Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan presided over the event and welcomed the act of supporting and promoting the local leadership. Padma Bhupatiraju, PFL India representative, recounted the work done by PFL in the past two years - Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan’s tour in US, anti corruption walk Dandi March2, fighting for NRI Absentee voting rights, and campaigns for stong Lokpal bills.

Prasanna Meda, president of PFL, who returned from India recently after observing the work done by Lok satta in Kukatpally, says, “Both LSP and PFL are built upon the efforts of selfless Lok satta volunteers with the single aim of using Lok satta for better India. We Welcome all NRIs to join us in this cause for our country.”PFL Poc in Loksatta Padma Bhupathiraju , explained about the initiatives being taken by PFL - constituency promotion project ,where PFL identifies strong constituencies and participates in development and promotion as a team and save farmers campaign to support farmers and solve farmers issues. Prasanna says PFL is also supporting party branches in other states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu and will continue to fight until we see India as the best democracy in the world.
