Its historic treachery!

AICC General Secretary, Digvijay Singh to whom the entire credit of bifurcation of the state and destroying the Congress party in the AP state should belong, has stepped into the AP state after a very long time. Justifying his party decision of bifurcation of the state he said “AP state was divided only with the consent of all political parties. It was a collective decision and not a unilateral decision. AP State is very much benefitted than the Telangana state in many ways. Land prices in the AP state shoots up post bifurcation and the real estate market is booming with business, whereas the land prices sharply fall down in the Telangana state. AP state also gets Polavaram Project that can provide enough water for cultivation in 7 lakh acres.”   But, he conveniently ignores to speak about the poor financial situation of the state and the never ending disputes between the two states and governments on several issues. Actually, Polavaram project is not recently started. It is progressing with snail pace for last two decades because the Congress governments’ have treated it as a source of commissions and not an Irrigation project. No one knows whether it will be completed even in the next one decade or not. Hence, Digvijay Singh can’t claim that it is any new Polavaram project.   Digvijay Singh said “The Congress party has given D Purandeswari MP Ticket and MLA ticket to her husband D Venkateswara Rao, though they both have TDP background. She was made Union Minister during the UPA regime. But, she has committed a historic treachery by jumping into the BJP.”   Digvijay Singh, before blaming any others should admit that his Congress party has betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh, who had been voting to it for last many decades. Actually, the united AP State is considered to be one of the strongest forts for the Congress party. But, it breaks it with its own hands and virtually disappeared from the AP state for its unforgivable sin. It not only betrayed the people of Andhra, but also its own leaders in the state. Many senior Congress leaders including the former AP Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy have to quit the party and took retirement for they are betrayed by their own party. The Telangana Congress leaders are still acknowledging this bitter fact stating that their president Sonia Gandhi has put the AP Congress at stake for Telangana state creation.   So, Digvijay Singh or any Congress leader can’t blame anyone else except themselves and their party. Whoever left or leaving the party have realized that the Congress party is going to wind up in the AP state before next general elections. Digvijay Singh is known for locking the party offices. He encouraged his high command to divide the state and served the purpose. So, he may now come to find out whether the Congress party is still alive or dead in the AP state. If alive he may kill it. AP Congress leaders beware of him.

They are like acknowledging their plans!

It seems the war between the two ruling parties of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states has reached to its flash point after the audio tape was released to media targeting none other than Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Recently, Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy has declared that his government has call records of Chandrababu Naidu and will made public in an appropriate time and it was released on Sunday, just a day before the ruling TDP government is gearing to grandly celebrate its one year completion in power. All these things are acknowledging some facts.   1. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s phone was also tapped. 2. The tapped call record was leaked to media with political motivation. 3. Confirming the TRS government role in this phone tapping affair.   Nayini’s statement and the timing of the audio tapes release are indicating the same. TRS intention may be to create an ugly scene and embarrassing situation to the TDP government during its celebrations time. TRS MP Kavita demands that Chandrababu Naidu name also should be added in the case as A-1 accused. Her demand is clearly revealing actually what it is expecting to do or to happen. But, if such thing happens at all, then the TRS government also will be in fix for tapping the phone calls of a neighbor state Chief Minister, blackmailing him and for releasing his tapped phone conversations to media with political motivations.   TRS party also knew that the courts won’t consider telephonic talks or sting operations as evidences in any case. Hence, it may be playing all this game merely to damage the TDP and its Chief Chandrababu Naidu’s reputation in both states and to eliminate TDP from the Telangana state permanently.   Jagan Mohan Reddy is also eagerly grabs this opportunity to defame the TDP government and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. His party is singing chorus with the TRS government in this issue and demanding for his resignation. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has thrown a challenge to his counterpart Chandrababu Naidu and so he also may make his moves to counter him. But, all these unwanted developments helps to further widen the gap between two states and may lead to unexpected problems in common capital Hyderabad.

Kodandaram not happy with KCR?

T-JAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram may be in dilemma on how to deal with the Telangana Chief Minister KCR, with whom he worked hand in hand during Telangana agitations period but now was set aside by him. He can’t criticize him as it may send a wrong message to the people that he is doing so because he was ignored by the Chief Minister. At the same time, he can’t prize him and his government as there are several visible problems that need to be addressed by the government. Hence, now and then he criticizes the Chief Minister indirectly and modestly pointing some problems. However, Chief Minister KCR never responds to his criticism indicating that he not even noticing him and his media statements. But, Kodandaram keep shooting shots at him, as if it becomes a routine practice for him.   Speaking at a meeting, he said “Telangana state was formed with the collective efforts and fights of lakhs of people and not with any individual or party’s efforts. So, we don’t need anyone’s invitation to celebrate the state formation day. We can celebrate it since we also contributed a lot for achieving it.”   “The huge expectations on transforming of Telangana state into a developed state still seem to be a distant dream. Youth have expected lakhs of job opportunities if Telangana state is created. But, they are very much disappointed to see there is no change in the situation even today. The agriculture sector is facing the same problems even today that it faced before bifurcation of the state. Hence, the state government has to review this situation and should take appropriate steps to address all these problems,” said Professor Kodandaram.
