Endless disputes between AP and TS

  It seems there is no end or solution to the disputes between the AP and Telangana states. The High Court has dismissed the G.O. issued by the Telangana state government that orders for relieving of 1200 employees of Andhra origin from Transco. The High Court served notices to the Telangana state government on Tuesday in response to a contempt of court petition against Telangana Power Generation Corporation and the Telangana state Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd for non-implementation of court orders in respect to distribution of employees.   Even while this issue is pending with the High Court, the Telangana state government has made another such move again yesterday. It replaced 35 officials of Andhra origin from commercial tax department with the Telangana native officials. Twenty seven CTOs (Commercial Tax Officers), 6 Assistant officers and 2 Deputy Commissioners were among the relieved. However, the Andhra Pradesh state government may not agree to take them into its service as it did in the case of 1200 employees of Telangana Transco earlier. If so, the Revenue officials who were relieved from their duties also may knock the High Court doors and the same situation may repeats again soon.   The Telangana state government which is claiming ownership rights on all the institutions that fall under schedule 10 of the AP Reorganization Bill has ordered the concerned chief secretaries to replace all the employees of Andhra origin with Telangana natives. So, it appears a severe crisis is ahead. These problems can’t be resolved unless the Centre takes initiative as the High Court may not be able to dedicate its precious time to resolve these ever ending problems.

It was not my fault: Hema Malini

  Bollywood actress Hema Malini was injured when her Mercedes Benz car rammed into a Maruti Alto car at Dausa in Rajasthan few days back. A four year old girl was died on the spot and three others were injured in this accident. Hema Malini has recovered from her injuries and reacts on the accident. She transferred the blame on to the girl’s father.   She tweets, “My heart goes out to the child who unnecessarily lost her life and the family members who have been injured in the accident”   “How I wish the girl's father had followed the traffic rules - thn this accident could have been averted & the lil one's life safe!”   She is very happy to see people from all over flooding messages to her inquiring about her health condition and praying for speedy recovery.   She tweets, “I'm touched & overwhelmed by the many msgs & calls frm well wishers in India & frm the world over. I thank each one of u frm the bottom of…my heart for ur genuine concern & prayers which have helped in my recovery frm the nightmare & trauma I've undergone. Love u all"   “Just going thro ur replies!The accident has shown me how much u ppl love me & care for my welfare. All my years spent in the entertainment…field has brot so much goodwill, I'm amazed! Thank u all for this love for which I am eternally grateful! U have given me so much strength”   However, she spits fire on media for trying to highlight this accident. She tweets, “As for the sensation-hungry media & a few members of the public who had a field day maligning me even when I was helpless &in deep trauma..who actually & unbelievably stooped to the lowest levels of human decency, I can only say "Shame on u" &"God Bless"!

ACB may serve notices to five persons: TRS MLA

  It appears the TRS leaders are virtually doing the job of the ACB. The audio and video tapes recorded by the ACB were released to the media soon after Revanth Reddy’s arrest. However, the ACB DGP AK Khan stated that his department has not released any tapes to the media. If so, who take pains to release them to media and how they fall into outsiders hands, which should be in the ACB’s possession and kept confident?   Later, state Home Minister Nayini has announced that they have recorded evidences of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu conversation with nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson. Later, the audio tapes were aired by the T-News Channel. However, don’t why the ACB has not reacted on it.   Now, the TRS MLA from Armoor constituency A. Jeevan Reddy has stated that the ACB may serve notices to five persons in the next round including TDP leader Janardhan and the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.   He said “The ACB has gathered very important information during its interrogation of the TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. The ACB is making progress in this case very sturdily. So, no one can escape from this case.”   TRS leaders are announcing the names of the accused in this case before the ACB make sure about it and deciding their punishments also. They are also announcing the list of names to whom the ACB is going to serve notices next. However, they argue that the state government is not interfering in this case nor it has any specific interest in it!

Sandra attends before ACB

  TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who was summoned by the ACB under Sec: 41 (A), attends before the ACB officials on Monday for facing interrogation in the note-for-vote case. Before going to the ACB, he told the media that he will fully co-operate with the ACB officials and answer every question. He said that he is not afraid to face the ACB interrogation because he has no nothing to do with this case and never spoke to any MLA seeking their support to the TDP MLC candidate Vem Narendar Reddy. Currently, ACB officials are questioning him in the ACB office.   The ACB officials may take him into custody, since they have served him notices under Sec: 41 (A) that enable them for it without serving any arrest warrant. Earlier, they have questioned TDP MLC candidate Vem Narendar Reddy, but let him go free after he promised to attend before them whenever summoned. So, it will be known by today evening whether the ACB will let Sandra Venkata Veeraiah also go free or takes him into custody.

DS to join TRS on July 8th

  Former PCC President, who bid good bye to his party recently, announced that he will join the TRS party in the presence of TRS party president KCR at Telangana Bhavan on July 8th. He told the media that he will not pressurize his followers or any other leaders to follow him into the TRS party. He said that he has enjoyed all posts except CM Post during his long association with the Congress party. Hence, he is not expecting any posts for joining the TRS party. It is up to CMKCR to decide how to utilize his services.   D Srinivas is acknowledging that he was given plenty of posts in the Congress party he leaves the party merely for not renewing his MLC seat. Then he said that he was left without any post for more than a month but no one cares about him in the party. The same person, who snap his 45 years of bond with the Congress party for a MLC post is stating that he is joining the TRS without any expectations.   A person, who strongly believes that he needs to be always engaged in one post or the other even without a month gap, how can sit idle in the TRS party? He says that he will not pressurize anyone to follow him into the TRS party. If so, TRS chief KCR wouldn’t welcome him also into the party, who have poor track record in the elections. TRS Chief may be rolling red carpet for him hoping that he may bring at least a handful of Congress leaders into the TRS party with which KCR wants to weaken the Congress party. So, if D Srinivas fails to rope in some key leaders into the party he can’t expect a Rajya Sabha or MLC seat in the TRS also.

ACB serves notices to Sandra Veeraiah

  As predicted the ACB serves notice to TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah on Saturday. He was asked to appear before the investigating officers before 6th July for interrogation in the note-for-vote case. The ACB served notices at his Hyderabad residence while he is currently staying at Khammam.   Few days back, he wrote a letter to the ACB stating that he is ready to attend their interrogation anytime. He also gave his mobile phone number in his letter written to the ACB. Responding about the fresh notice by the ACB, Sandra said that he will definitely attend the interrogation in the given time and answer all their questions. It is learnt that ACB also served notices to a person named Jimmi, who is reportedly arrange meeting between Revanth Reddy and Elvis Stephenson.

Cursing outgoing leaders will save the Congress?

  Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao removes the photos of former AICC member K Keshav Rao, former PCC Presidents Botsa Satyanarayana and D Srinivas from the party head office-Gandhi Bhavan.   He said “They do not deserve any place among those great leaders’ who sacrificed everything and enhances the party reputation. Even the party workers hate those who betrayed the party during its bad time. D Srinivas has sold the b-forms when he was PCC President. He was a TRS covert agent in the Congress party. I hope Danam Nagendar won’t do such mistake.”   Earlier, PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy and some other senior leaders have stated that it makes no difference if D Srinivas leaves the party. But, indeed it makes huge difference for the Congress party in the state as his departure has created an impression that Congress party is also going to dilute in the Telangana state also the way it is diluting in the AP state. This kind of impression may weaken the party cadre’s self-confidence, the way party cadre in Vizianagaram district feeling deserted, helpless, clueless and alone after Botsa Satyanarayana left the party.   However, the Congress party should realize that merely blaming the outgoing leaders won’t help the party anyway. The senior leaders of the party should chalk out some programs that can keep the party intact and to boost the spirits of the party cadre. They should see how the TDP is trying to strengthen itself in the Telangana state and boosting its cadres spirits by organizing several programs, despite passing thropugh all odds.

President’s suggestion intended for CM KCR?

  President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s suggestion given to AP and Telangana Chief Ministers is reflecting the general public opinion. He said Hyderabad should not be seen as a mere capital city of both states but it is an important and integral part of India. Hence, he asked both governments work together for the development of their states keeping in mind that we are one country. He gave this suggestion during a book release function of ‘Vuniki’ penned by Maharashtra Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao, where Governor Narasimhan and Telangana Chief Minister KCR were also present.   Although he appears to be suggesting both Chief Ministers, the platform he chooses to give this suggestion apparently is intended for Telangana Chief Minister KCR only. He also may be realized this point and but doesn’t responded to his suggestion. If he responds, it would be admitting that he is the trouble maker. So, he simply ignored his suggestion and thanked Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao for giving an opportunity to release his book in the presence of President of India.   But, people in large opine that would he positively responded to his suggestion it could send a positive message to the Centre that he is not rigid and also cares for the integrity of the country. But, he missed a great opportunity because he doesn’t want to see beyond his TRS party and Telangana state.

SC rejects ACB’s petition on Revanth’s bail

  The Supreme Court that takes up the ACB’s petition today that was challenging the High Court verdict given in favour of Revanth Reddy rejects the ACB’s petition stating that there are no strong reasons to cancel his bail orders. The apex court opines that the ACB has collected the necessary details from the accused during its interrogation and processed the case under Sec: 164 of the CRPC. So, why did it wants to keep the accused in the jail and what additional information it wants to collect from them. The court opines that the accused have been kept under judicial custody for one month hence ACB can’t insist for extension of their custody any further. The apex court rejects the ACB’s petition.”   ACB has engaged noted advocate Kapil Sibal to powerfully present its arguments so as to make sure Revanth Reddy's bail orders are cancelled by the Supreme Court. But, even after it was backfired at it. Hence, this provides another opportunity to the TDP to hit back at the Telangana Government and its Chief Minister KCR. It also gives an impression that AP government gains upperhand over the Telangana Government in this case.   Hence, the Telangana government may make some offensive steps against the AP government. Three complaints were already booked against Revanth Reddy yesterday in two police statations for violating the traffic rules, conduting a rally without prior permission and for provoking the people against the state government. So, the state government may try to fix him through either of these cases. 

Jagan found nice reason to reach the people?

  Jagan Mohan Reddy has found new idea to extend his most popular ‘Odarpu Yatras,’ that provides him an opportunity to please the people and to criticize his darling enemy TDP government and it’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. But, as he couldn’t find any more families to pacify, he switched to Raithu Bharosa Yatralu and start pacifying the farmers’ families whose family head or member has committed suicide due to financial problems.   Now he found another idea that can be implemented forever. He starts visiting the bereaved families, who lost their family heads or members in the road accidents. Though, the purpose of his visit is to pacify them, he takes this opportunity to criticize the state government for not releasing the compensation granted to them. Later, he sifts to his regular political issues and strongly criticize the state government and its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.   Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao strongly condemned his peculiar ideas and said he try to politicize every issue and use wrong platforms for making such peculiar statements. “He claims that he is fighting on behalf of the people of the AP state. But, at the same time he asks what is wrong if join hands with the TRS party that is harming our state interests. We are quite unfortunate to have an opposition leader like him in the state, who have no moral values at all,” said Devineni.

Hema Malini injured in car accident

  Veteran Bollywood actor and BJP MP Hema Malini was injured in a car accident at Dausa near Jaipur in Rajasthan on yesterday around 9.00 pm. She had an injury on her forehead over her right eye. Her Mercedes Benz car has rammed into Alto car, when it was entering into highway road from a bypass road at Dausa.   A four year girl identified as Sonam travelling in the Alto was died and two others in the car were seriously injured in the accident. Hema Malini’s car driver was also reportedly had leg injuries.   There were two other persons in the Mercedes Benz car besides the driver and the actress. Five persons were on board in the Alto car when this accident happened.   A passerby has shifted Hema Malini in his car to Fortis hospital in Jaipur which is 60 km away from the accident spot. Two injured persons of Alto car were shifted to SMS hospital in Jaipur and other two were admitted in a local hospital in Dausa.   Hema Malini, was proceeding to Jaipur from Mathura while the other vehicle was proceeding to Lalsoth from Jaipur Doctors conducted CT scan and other tests to the actress soon after she was admitted in the hospital. Hema Malini received stiches on the forehead and her health condition is reportedly stable. The condition of the other injured in the accident is said to be not so good.   If seen the intensity of the accident, it seems Hema Malini’s car was running with very high speed and so was the driver of her car unable to apply breaks in time.

Who nailed Congress in AP and TS?

  Former PCC President D Srinivas squarely blames AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh for his departure from the Congress party. Whether the Congress leaders agree with him or not, they may agree that Digvijay Singh is the one who created this mess for the party in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state as well.   Congress party was wiped out in Andhra Pradesh because he encouraged his party high command to divide the state ignoring the objections of lakhs of people and his own Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. He played key role in dividing the state but failed to guide his party leaders in the Telangana to claim the credit of carving the Telangana state. He believed that he is very nicely handling the media but fails to notice lack of discipline and team work among the party leaders.   Later, he was replaced by Jairam Ramesh, who also played spoilsport for the party in both states. Congress high command has sent him to the AP who played a key role in bifurcation process. His visit to AP just ahead of the general elections is proved to be suicidal for the party and hammered the last nail on the Congress coffin.   Actually, if he highlighted the same point in Telangana and inspires his party leaders to take advantage of it, certainly Congress party would have won the elections in the Telangana state. But, he also fails to guide his party leaders in the crucial election period. He let them quarrel for party tickets and PCC President Post, whereas he should force them to do a team work during the crucial elections period. Hence, Digvijay Singh should be made accountable for wiping out the party in the AP and Jairam Ramesh for Telangana state. There are several other players and factors that leads to the defeat of the party, but the duo need to be made accountable mainly for the present situation of the party in both states.

ACB challenges HC judgment in SC

  ACB has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Thursday challenging the High Court’s decision of granting bail to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, Sebastian and Uday Simha accused in the note-for-vote case. The ACB in its petition appealed the apex court to dismiss the bail order issued by the High Court as they may influence the evidences in this case while the investigation has reached crucial stage. The ACB in its petition mentioned that it has to find out the source of balance Rs. 4.50 crores money offered to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson by Revanth Reddy. The apex court may take up its petition tomorrow and may serve notice to Revanth Reddy to file counter in this case.

KCR got fever as I released on bail: Revanth

  TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was released from Charlapalli jail on Wednesday evening. TDP workers and his followers have arrived in large number to welcome him. They gave him a heroic welcome and followed him to the party head office NTR Trust Bhavan. Andhra and Telangana leaders of the party have warmly welcomed him at party head office.   Addressing the party workers, he said “KCR seems got fever after knowing that I have secured bail. From now onwards, I will fight against CM KCR and his family for the next 30 years. My aim is to unseat him and his family members from power. I will visit every village and town in the state and educate the people about KCR’s misruling.”   “KCR has misused his powers and put entire departments behind me to trap me in this case. If, KCR really believes that he is son of the soil, I challenge him to ask all the TDP MLAs serving the TRS now to resign and face the elections. Earlier, a person has tried to eliminate the TDP, but he was died in a chopper crash. I will educate the people and see them chase KCR and his family away from the state,” said Revanth Reddy.

Lalit Modi hitting hard at Congress and BJP leaders

  It seems former IPL Chairman Lalit Modi is either blackmailing the Congress and the BJP leaders or taking sweet revenge for his present situation. Ever since, his passport, visa issue surfaced, he has been posting sensational messages in his Twitter account. He is targeting both the Congress and BJP leaders in it. He is proportionately providing ammo to leaders of both parties and they are shooting at each other whenever he updates his Twitter account. Virtually, he is sparing no one in both parties. He targets BJP MP Varun Gandhi next.   He tweets that Varun Gandhi who met him in London few years back has assured to clear al his problems but has a price tag for it. Varun Gandhi told him that if he is ready to pay Rs.384 crores to elder sister of AICC President Sonia Gandhi living in Italy, all the problems back at home will be cleared.   This is equally embarrassing to the BJP and the Congress parties as Varun Gandhi belongs to the BJP and Sonia Gandhi was reportedly expected huge bribe for clearing all his cases back at home.   Lalit Modi in his latest tweet messages:   My query to the ED: DO you have the courage to call BJP's #Arun Jaitley or # Rajeev Shukla from INC-Congress even today? Revanth Reddy is likely to resign?

  The high court has made correction to its judgment letter given yesterday granting bail to Revanth Reddy and two other accused in the note-for-vote case. They may be released from Charlapalli jail anytime from now. Hence, generally many people ask a question-what next? The ACB has already hinted that it may challenge the high court verdict in the Supreme Court. But, people are curious about Revanth Reddy’s next moves and his future political course.   Obviously, TRS government may try to humiliate him by suspending him from the Assembly. So, the TDP may ask him to resign to his Kondagal MLA seat and seek re-election, before the TRS government suspends him from the Assembly. This would give him a chance to prove that people are with him and return to the Assembly with triumph, if defeats the TRS candidate in the bye-elections.   This move will also build pressure on the TDP MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav who is serving as minister in the TRS government to resign to his MLA seat and face the elections from his Sanath Nagar constituency. If, the TDP can defeat the TRS candidates in both constituencies it would be a slap on the TRS chief face and also force him to remove Talasani from his minister post. So, the TDP high command may ask Revanth Reddy to seek re-election and he also may opt this as it will help to boost his spirits.

SC condemns Madras HC suggestion to rape victim

  The Madras High Court’s suggestion to rape victim to compromise with the guilty in a rape case leads to strong protests and criticism. The Supreme Court also strongly condemned the Madras High Court’s suggestion. The Supreme Court stated that compromising between rape victim and accused are not acceptable. They are disrespecting the women rights. Any such attempt should be treated as an offence, even though the victim in the case is ready for it. Any such attempt will be encouraging such heinous crimes. Anyone found guilty in a rape case should be punished severely according to law.”   Actually, this kind of solution in a rape case was generally seen as an ultimate solution in the old movies, where the guilty in the rape case admits his mischief and marries the rape victim in the climax scene. Then people also used to believe it is the ultimate solution in such crimes. But a High Court making such a peculiar suggestion to rape victim in these modern days, obviously leads to strong criticism.

Jayalalitha creates a new record

  Tamilnadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha has created a new record in the bye- elections held recently in Dr. Radha Krishnan Nagar constituency in Chennai. She won the elections bagging 1, 60, 432 votes and with a majority of 1, 50,722 votes over her rival C. Mahendran of CPI, who wins only 9,710 votes. Another interesting thing in this bye-election is that all the 27 candidates contested have lost their deposits.   Her AIADMK cadres have started celebrations from morning itself when she was leading in the first round of counting of votes. AIADMK cadres across Tamilnadu state are grandly celebrating her sweeping victory in the bye-elections. State Governor K Rosaiah congratulates her on this occasion. Her victory is very much expected but not with such a huge margin.   It boosts the spirits of her and her party cadres. But, she may face legal problems very soon as the Karnataka government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court recently seeking her disqualification and challenging the Karnataka High Court’s verdict that acquitted her from disproportionate assets case. Hence, she has to start a fresh legal battle very soon. But, this case also may be dragged for years or decades and no surprise if she retires from the politics in the meantime.

My Husband will continue his fight: Mrs. Revanth Reddy

  TDP leaders’ reaction on their MLA Revanth Reddy’s bail may be quite common and expected ones. But, Revanth Reddy’s wife Geeta’s reaction is very interesting and is a slap on the face those who are spreading rumors that he will quit politics very soon.   She said “I am quite happy to hear this news and feeling very strong with his returning home. I thought that we may face some political problems because my husband is playing a strong opposition leader role, but never expected that we have to face personal problems like this. Although, it is quite a bitter experience, it helps us to learn new lessons and make our stand very firm now.”   “No one should think that my husband will drop the cards and change his political attitude and policies. He will continue his fight on behalf of the Telangana people as ever before,” she said.   “TDP President Chandrababu Naidu is the first person, who assured me his and party support to my family after my husband was arrested. I am really thankful to Chandrababu Naidu and all our TDP leaders for supporting our family in our hard days,” said Mrs. Revanth Reddy.
