HC stays on Hero Moto Corp construction activities

Responding to a petition filed by Iashwarya Orchids, high court issues a stay order on construction activities of Hero Moto Corp at Madanapalli in Chittoor district. The petitioner argued that the state government has not settled the payment until now and also fails to follow the provisions of transparent land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement of the 844 acres of land acquired by it from them and allots to Hero Company.   The petitioner also reminds the court that it has issued an interim injunction order in year 2007, when the state government attempted to procure its lands for industrial development. Hence, the high court grants a stay order on construction activities in this huge chunk of land and asked the Company and the state government to maintain ‘status co’ condition until further orders.   This would be a major setback for the state government which is spearheading with industrial development activities. Hero Moto Corp has agreed to set up its first ever manufacturing unit down the south at Madanapalli in Chittoor district with a huge investment of Rs.3, 000 crores. It plans to manufacture 1.8 million units per year initially and increase its production capacity to 12 million units per year in the coming years.   Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu managed to attract this largest two-wheeler motor bikes manufacturing company-Hero Moto Corp to the state after facing very high competition from neighboring states. Hence, the state government has to resolve this serious issue immediately otherwise neighboring states may definitely take this as advantage and may try to attract it.

Can they stress Governor for HC bifurcation?

TRS party MPs will meet Governor Narasimhan on Thursday to stress him to take initiative for bifurcation of the High Court. But, they are also aware that he also can’t do anything in this regard as the matter is in AP government’s hands.   According to the AP Reorganization Act, the existing common High Court will go to Telangana state once a High Court is arranged for Andhra Pradesh by the state government with the help of Central financial aid. Hence, the High Court bench categorically stated that the present combined High Court can’t be divided or can’t be relocated anywhere else in Hyderabad city. Neither AP nor Telangana states can set up a separate High Court in Hyderabad by dividing the existing one.The existing High Court can’t be allotted to Telangana state, until the AP state government set-up its own High Court somewhere within the state.   Even, the Centre also has endorsed the High Court’s ruling given on this particular issue and expressed its helplessness. Telangana state government, its ministers MPs and MLAs all are aware about this bitter fact. However TRS MPs are approaching the Governor to stress him on this issue, even after knowing that he can do nothing in this regard. Andhra Pradesh state government is planning to set up its High Court in its upcoming capital city Amaravati. It may take two or three years to set up the High Court in the city. Hence, TRS government can’t expect bifurcation of the existing High Court in its present term.

Why Kishan Reddy did soften voice on TDP?

It was not any big secret that BJP Telangana state President Kishan Reddy dislikes having alliance with TDP in Telangana state. He spells his mind again when Revanth Reddy was arrested by the ACB in the note-for-vote case. Then, he announced that he is updating his party high command about the ongoing developments and left the decision to it to decide whether to continue alliance with TDP or not. But, suddenly he softens his voice and speaking in favour of TDP now.   He said “TRS Chief KCR has cooked this note-for-vote case conspiracy in an attempt to wipe out TDP from the Telangana state. But, it backfires at him and made much damage to his TRS party than TDP in the state. Our alliance with TDP will continue in upcoming GHMC and Warangal Municipal Corporation Elections.”   But, what makes Kishan Reddy change his attitude towards TDP so suddenly? Perhaps, it is because of his party national president Amit Shah educating him about BJP’s poor representation and strength in the Telangana state. Amit Shah has made his state BJP leaders realize that their party is not strong except Hyderabad. He is also said to be scolded them for doing nothing to strengthen the party in the state. However, TDP has strong cadres all over the state and can make a dent in any elections. Its recent victory from two places in the local bodies’ elections during peak of the crisis was a fine example for its unsheltered strength and self-confidence.   Hence, Amit Shah may educates Kishan Reddy that he shouldn’t stress for snapping ties with TDP, instead should strengthen the bond between two parties until BJP strengthens its base in the state. BJP may face GHMC elections and may pocket lion share of wards in Hyderabad twin cities, but it can’t expect any such miracle in the Warangal Municipal Corporation Elections. Bye-election for Warangal Lok Sabha seat also will be held soon which is necessitated with Kadiyam Srihari’s resignation. So, BJP may need TDP support to win the elections. This is why Kishan Reddy may be softens his voice against TDP.

YCP all set to politicize Pushkaram’s tragedy

While everyone, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deeply shocked for the tragic incident that takes place in Rajahmundry Godavari Pushkarams today morning, YSR Congress leaders appears to be seeing this as a great opportunity to politicize it. Its president Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is actually scheduled to take a holy dip in Godavari tomorrow, is rushing to accident spot right now after hearing about the tragic incident.   Simultaneously, his party leaders Ambati Rambabu sharply attacked the Andhra Pradesh state government and its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for failing to ensure safety and security of devotees. Ambati said that though his intention is not to politicize this tragic incident, he demands for resignations of CM Chandrababu Naidu and Endowment Minister Manikya Rao owing moral responsibility of this incident.   He argued that medical team takes more than half an hour time to reach the accident spot other many victims’ lives would have been saved. He also points out that there is no hygienic condition in many Pushkar ghats. He demands the state government to take appropriate steps to prevent repentance of such tragic incidents.   Ambati Rambabu is also aware that CM Chandrababu Naidu and his ministers have been camping at Rajahmundry for the last few days to personally supervise the Pushkarams arrangements. Especially, CM Chandrababu Naidu has been reviewing the arrangements on daily basis and taking appropriate measurements to ensure safety, security and for smooth conducting of Pushkarams.   However, this tragic accident takes place as there was sudden rush of devotees toward Kotagummam Ghat. No one can expect medical teams drop at the accident spot from air. They have to reach there crossing a sea of people. However, they have managed to reach the accident spot within 10-15 minutes and given first aid treatment to injured otherwise more people would have died. Instead of considering these ground realities, YSRCP leaders have tried to politicize this issue. Next, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who will reach the accident spot soon, may strongly criticize the Chief Minister and demand for his resignation.

After TDP MPs, Pawan hits at Congress

Everyone may be believing that Pawan Kalyan may not re-appear until next few months as he held a press meet recently and dumped all his opinions that he believes are very precious and to be obliged by concerned parties and politicians. But, quite unusually he appeared back on his Twitter account and this time to hit at his darling enemy Congress party.   He tweets, “I love Congress! I adore Congress! for their Zeal, for their Fervour, for their Passion to take on BJP Govt... merely for 'ONE LALIT MODI' Issue than to fight for their Promise to deliver SPECIAL STATUS to 'FiFTY MILLION SEEMANDHRAS.' Hail Congress!”   He may be thinking that except him, everyone else in the state has the responsibility of fighting for the special status and his duty is to pinch whoever ignores it. So, he pinches TDP and BJP MPs and now Congress party.   Whether Congress party has honesty or not, it fought for it some time ago, but Pawan Kalyan has never taken initiative for it until now except posting tweet messages whenever he finds some free time. Even his co-star Shivaji staged dharnas, fast-unto-death strikes and is still holding meetings with scholars and political leaders to garner support for his fight. He appealed Pawan Kalyan to join or to extend his support to his fight for special status, but Pawan Kalyan has simply ignored his pleas. Now he is criticizing others for failing to take initiative.   After all, he also can talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this issue and pressurize him to grant special status to the AP state. But, he doesn’t want to take such risk with which his relationship with Modi will spoil. So, he keep criticizing others probably in an attempt to project himself a real life hero, while maintaining double standards like this.

BJP to fight against 7 parties in Bihar

Assembly elections in Bihar state will be held in November this year. Hence, political activities are gradually intensifying in the state. Six political parties of the state and neighboring states have merged into one and gearing to fight the upcoming elections under Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership. Although, RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav keen to lead the alliance as its Chief Minister candidate, Nitish clinched away his chance. So, he has to carry responsibility of leading their alliance to victory in the elections.   Hence, he is unleashing his elections strategies from now itself. Today, he announced that if he is re-elected, he will ban liquor in the state. But, if he is really honest with his commitment, then he could implement the same from now itself as he is ruling the state as its Chief Minister. But, he seems to be considering it as a bait to catch women voters.   BJP is also very seriously putting efforts to win these upcoming elections. Former Chief Minister Jitin Ram Manjhi, who represents SC, ST community has join hands with it. A recent internal survey conducted in the state by BJP reveals that it may bag atleast 127 out of 243 seats in the upcomng elections.    However, Nitish Kumar rubbishes its survey report. He said, “BJP is trying to create a positive atmosphere for it in the state by spreading reports like these with the help of a section of media. But, I am sure people are with us and they will give their votes for us as we are giving good governance. Congress party decides to join hands with alliance lead by Nitish Kumar.   So, BJP has to face total seven parties including Congress party in these upcoming elections. If it could win over them, then certainly there will be no one to challenge BJP in the country in near future.

Modi agreed to visit Pakistan!

A significant outcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi meeting with his counterpart of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif surprised everyone. Narendra Modi has accepted Nawaz Sharfi’s invitation to attend SAARC Summit in Islamabad to be held in 2016.   In a joint statement read by foreign secretaries S. Jai Shankar of India and Aizaz Chaudhry of Pakistan, “The meeting between Indian and Pakistan Prime Ministers was held in a cordial atmosphere. Both countries have agreed to discuss all outstanding issues and will discuss ways and means to expedite the legal process against Laqvi, the suspected mastermind behind Mumbai bomb blasts. The national security advisors of both countries will meet in New Delhi soon for discussing on terrorism. The border security in-charges of both countries also will meet soon to discuss on how to ensure peace in the boarders. Both countries will release fishermen of other country from jails within two weeks.”   Hence, it would be another beginning in the bilateral relations between India and Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Pakistan and Pakistan may send its security advisor for a meeting with his counterpart of India. But as long as Pakistan do not change its attitude toward India, it is hard to expect any improvement in bilateral relations between two countries. Mere polished statement by diplomats is not sufficient to improve relations between two countries. Both countries should honestly try to create a healthy atmosphere between two countries.

Pawan Kalyan hits back at Kesineni Nani!

Pawan Kalyan, more or less appeared to be backed the AP government in his speech, for which he was strongly criticized by some Telangana leaders. But, now he becomes busy drawing swords on the AP MPs, although TDP is treating him as its alliance partner. This is not only widening the gap between them but is also providing enough ammo for opposition parties to point out at him and the ruling party as well.   He also hits hardly at two BJP MPs Haribabu and Gangarauju during his speech for not insisting their party to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh. However, they seem to be writes off his criticism as immature comments.   But, Pawan Kalyan seems to be mainly focusing on Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) from the very beginning, as he is the one who snatches Vijayawada Lok Sabha ticket that Pawan Kalyan wants to allot to Potluri Varaprasad.   Today he tweets again. This time he straight away aims his guns at Kesineni Nani. He provides a link: http://www.prsindia.org/mptrack/kesinenisrinivas in his twitter account that provides full details of Kesineni Nani’s performance, attendance etc.in the parliament.   He tweets, “How many Andhra MPs were present in the Lok Sabha when the AP Reorganization Bill was presented in the house on March 17th, 2015 for amending it. He further tweets, “In that Debate only Five MPs participated according to my Info. What happened to rest of the MPs?”   Pawan Kalyan asks the Andhra MPs why they are not insisting the Central government to grant special status to the state. But, he conveniently ignores a point that he also not minds to join his co-star Shivaji’s fight for the special status and not even asked his fans to extend their support to his fight. Although, Shivaji belongs to BJP, he fights for the special status and repeatedly appealed Pawan Kalyan to extend his support to his fight. But, Pawan Kalyan not even bothered to responds to his co-star’s appeals. The same person is now finding fault with the Andhra MPs on the same issue. Why? Is someone is encouraging him from behind to create a mess for the AP government or is he preparing grounds for re-launching of his Janasena Party soon? Let him spell.

Wage hike for Anganwadi Workers in AP soon

Anganwadi Workers, Andhra Pradesh, Wage Hike, Retirement Benefit It wouldn’t be any remarkable decision if the cash-rich Telangana government grants sops to its Anganwadi workers, but certainly it would be a remarkable decision if the cash-strapped AP government takes similar decision.   Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a Cabinet Sub-committee for studying the demands of its Anganwadi workers for wage hike and other benefits. Woman and Child Welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha, a member in this sub-committee said that the committee is very positive about their demands and it is likely to submit its report to the state government very soon.   She said the Chief Minister has already announced a retirement benefits of Rs. 50, 000 to Anganwadi workers and Rs. 20, 000 to helpers. Once, the Sub-committee submits its reports, she assured that Anganwadi workers’ wages also will be increased. She said that the state government is planning to transform the Anganwadi centers into multipurpose service platform, with which Anganwadi workers and the people also would benefit.   She said the state government is planning to provide two-wheelers to ASHA workers to reach the people living in remote villages. They will try to educate the people about nutrition. They will also immunize the school going children and encourage the parents to send their drop-out children back to schools. It helps the state government to have their feedback about the situation in the remote villages and allot sufficient funds for development and welfare programs accordingly.
