Deepika turns designer for Van Heusen   Deepika Padukone has designed her second line for Van Heusen — the Limited Edition Spring Summer 2014 Collection which will be is available at select outlets across India. Deepika's latest collection has been designed to be, as she says, "easy and effortless, keeping the summer season in mind". She spent close to six months designing them and these dresses have been designed with Summer in mind where a woman can wear these dresses for any occasion. The collection was launched in Mumbai where Vinay Bhopatkar, Brand Head, Van Heusen, said, "Van Heusen and Deepika epitomises effortless style and sophisticated fashion, while being chic and elegant.

Apply this on your skin and let it dry and wash off .this can be done regularly. Another age old ayurvedic but highly smelly option is to take the juice of onion and garlic pods and apply this on your face and leave it for 10 minutes. If you feel any burning sensation it’s because of the sulphur in the onion which causes that. So don’t worry this is a proven and excellent remedy for balck spot removal. Another tried and tested option is sandalwood powder. Combine this with glycerin, rose water and lemon juice and apply this on your face. Once it dries up ,wash it off with cold water. Apart from these homemade tips you also need to exfoliate your skin with a good scrub to keep these spots away.

Tale of a Bow Collection - LFW 2014   Anushree Reddy’s collection in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort was a subtle presentation of Indian Couture. The classic combination of light pastels which included grays, pinks, teal blue, beiges and mild yellow were part of her silhouettes.   She used rich fabrics like malkha, Chanderi, kota, tulle, mulmul and satin on lightly structured silhouettes. The show which started with singer Shibani Kashyap singing on the ramp and wore a pink and white salwar with gold and silver appliqués. Clothes which were mostly, lehengas, Anarkalis, dresses, gowns, pants and cover-ups sported large innovatively placed bows in tune with the theme. The embellishments comprised zardosi work, pearl tassels, bling sequins, tube sequins and beads. Ending the show was actress Ileana D’Cruz who wore a  cream lehenga and peach toned blouse with sequins and embroidery. The designs were very elegant and completely wearable by those who like to be understated and yet contemporary.
