Jagga Reddy targets Prof.Kodhandaram

  The lone Samaikyavadhi in Telangana region- Congress MLA Toorupu Jaya Prakash Reddy is known for 3 things. He supports Unite Andhra. He hates TRS and KCR. He is loyal to Kiran Kumar Reddy and party high command.   Hence, it will be very easy to gauge him with these references. During his visit to Media he said “Prof.Kodhandaram is working like an agent of KCR. He seems to be working to keep the TRS afloat with his T-JAC. Both of they have no interest in getting statehood for Telangana. They are more interested in upcoming elections than fighting for the Telangana cause. Hence, they use the agitations only to win the elections. So, I appeal the youth not to commit suicide for their agitations or for Telangana. They should realize that by abusing the Congress party, one can’t bring Telangana.”   He said Kiran Kumar government has not fallen into minority due to the announcement made by PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana about expelling 9 MLAs of Jagan loyalists from the party.

Need not be proud of society results: Palwai

  One could justify if opposition parties lashing at the government. But, if it is from own party members, certainly it would be embarrassing for any CM. Senior congress leader Palwai Govardhan Reddy responding to tall claims made by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy over the triumph in society elections, said in fact it is not the victory of any leaders but the credit goes to grass root level party workers. One need not to think that Telangana sentiment is fading away because of this verdict. It is there in the hearts of the people, but the verdict is an outcome of the collective effort put by the party workers.”   He said “People are coming to see Sharmila, only because she is daughter of former CM. So, she need not expect them to vote for her party. I am sure YSRCP will not get a single vote, come how many miles she walks in the region. Both Chandrababu and Sharmila are doing padayatras only to come to power, so as they can safeguard their properties.”

Sharmila retards to TDP, BJP allegations

  YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Sharmila, who becomes soft target for TDP and BJP these days, has given a fitting reply to both today tying both to each other. She said BJP is acting in the direction of Chandrababu. They allege that my husband is using religion to come to power. In fact, he has never shown any interest in politics. Our family has never let the religion comes into our way in politics. Only cowards use the religion card in politics.   She said it is pity that some leaders of her father age in TDP are trying to politicize even her leg injury and operation. She said she is ready holding their feet if they could prove she doesn’t undergo operation for her knee joint. She challenged them whether they are ready to her hold her feet and beg apology if she proves that she undergoes operation for knee joint injury.   "Chandrababu has completely brought the state to a grinding halt. It was my father, who brings back the welfare schemes to help the downtrodden. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government also miserable failed in all sectors. People say he made their lives miserable," said Sharmila.   She told the people of Nalgonda "The state can be brought back onto track only when my brother Jagan Mohan Reddy elected to power and takes charge of the state. If, my father YSR is alive, by now all the pending projects would have been completed and farmers also happy to see the water flowing into their fields.Once Jagan Mohan Reddy comes to power, he will complete all the pending projects and make the Nalgonda district fluoride free."

Afjal Guru hanged

  Home Ministry has confirmed the death punishment of Afjalguru, member of terrorist group Jeish-E-Mohammad. Minister of state for Home RK Singh has announced that Afjalguru was hanged in Tihar jail at 8am on Saturday. President Pranab Mukharji has rejected his mercy petition on January 26th.   Afjalguru was prime accused in the 2001 December 13th Parliament attack, in which 9 people including police were killed. He was arrested on December 15th 2001. Supreme Court has given him death sentence in year 2004 but it couldn’t be implemented as he applied for mercy petition with President of India. However, when President Pranab Mukharji has rejected his mercy petition, his sentence was confirmed in the last month itself. Home Ministry maintains utmost secrecy until the last minute about his death sentence. According home ministry, Afjal guru will be cremated in Tihar jail.

        ముంబైలో జరుగుతున్న ఇరానీ కప్‌లో మాస్టర్ బ్లాస్టర్ సచిన్ టెండుల్కర్ సెంచరీ చేశాడు. వాంఖేడే స్టేడియంలో ముంబై తరఫున ఆడుతున్న సచిన్ రెస్ట్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాపై సెంచరీ సాధించాడు. మాస్టర్ కి ఫస్ట్ క్లాస్ క్రికెట్ లో ఇది 81వ సెంచరీ. ఇరానీ కప్ లో రెండో సెంచరీ.1989లో ఇదే స్టేడియంలో ఢిల్లీ పైన 16 ఏళ్ల వయస్సులో ఇరానీ కప్‌లో సెంచరీ సాధించాడు. సచిన్ ఈ సెంచరీను మూడో రోజు చేశాడు. సునీల్ గవాస్కర్ ఫస్ట్ క్లాస్ మ్యాచులలో చేసిన 81 సెంచరీల రికార్డును సచిన్ సమం చేశాడు.రెస్ట్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాపై ముంబై 409 పరుగులకి ఆలౌటైంది. సచిన్ 18 బౌండరీలు, రెండు సిక్స్‌లతో 140 పరుగులతో నాట్ అవుట్ గా నిలిచాడు

Kamal plans sequel for Viswaroopam?

  Brushing off all the speculations about the film success, Kamal Hassan’s Viswaroopam Tamil version, which released yesterday in Tamilnadu state, has received with overwhelming response. Though the film is not typical commercial film, it earns positive talk among the mass audiences in the state for that their beloved star ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Hassan’s marvelous performance. According to reports, tickets in all the 550+ theaters across the state were booked for the next one week, thus giving sigh of relief to Kamal Hassan as well as to the film distributors who went doldrums all these days due to delay in film release. It is learnt that Kamal has planning to make sequel of this film tentatively titled as ‘Muun’ which means ‘three’ in English. According to reports, the film opens in India with Kamal Hassan encountering the terrorists.

Togadia too may join Owaisi group in jail?

  Praveen Togadia, known for his hate speeches against Muslim community may land in behind the bars if the ongoing investigation by Nanded police confirms his hate speech made at Nanded in the last month. A case was filed against him by Imran Ali, member of All India Democratic Front with Nanded police under sections 295(a) and 153(b). Since, the Muslim organizations in the country are accusing the governments of showing discrimination between them and radical Hindu leaders like Togadia, minister of State for Home, RP Singh has asked the Maharashtra government to file charge sheet if he has made any hate speech.

Actor Srihari to join YSRCP

  Veteran Tollywood actor Srihari has met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda jail on Friday to join his party. He spent more than half an hour with Jagan in the jail and while returning he told the media soon he is going to join YSR Congress party. He also declared that he will contest in the forthcoming elections to Assembly on YSRCP ticket. He has been hinting of joining active politics since long time but today he came out of his shell and selected YSRCP as his political platform.   Congress MLA Dwarapudi Chandrasekhar also visits Jagan Mohan Reddy in the jail today. He also said will join YSRCP very soon. Srihari’s entry into YSRCP not only adds star attraction to party but also may bring many more from the film industry into the party, since he has good relations within and with social activists outside.

Protests against Sri Lankan President

  Sri Lanka President Rajapakse proposed visit to Tirupati creates havoc in the country as DMK lead groups hits the streets in large numbers protesting his entry into country. DMK chief Karunanidhi’s second son Stalin leads the protests in Tamilnadu state. He said the person who killed thousands of innocent Tamilians including children and aged women branding as pro LTTE people shouldn’t be allowed to enter into India. He said they will intensify their protests if the government ignores their demand. Protesters have burnt Rajapakse’s effigy and staged rasta rokos and dharnas all over the state.   Some Tamil people in New Delhi also stage dharnas headed by Tamil leader Vaigo near Janatar Mantar protesting his arrival to country. Police have tightened the security arrangements at Tirupati to prevent any untoward incidents during Pakse’s visit to holy temple.

Shankarao’s daughter keen to enter politics?

  Former Minister Shankarao’s police pick-up and consequent developments seems gave birth to a new politician-Sushmita, Shankarao’s daughter. Although, Kiran Kumar Reddy has ordered for a CID inquiry into the case, succumbing to the pressures from all sides, Shankarao and his daughter Sushmita have been not co-operating with the CID officers. They demand CBI inquiry instead of CID inquiry. Later, Sushmita also filed a complaint against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, DGP Dinesh Reddy and the concerned police officials, who picked her father from the house on January 31st, as if to highlight herself in the media.   Now, she appears to be developed political interests and hence shot a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi complaining against CM and DGP. She writes that, since DGP Dinesh Reddy is a relative of an YSR Congress party leader, he harasses those who speak against YSRCP or Jagan Mohan Reddy. Since, her father filed a petition against Jagan Mohan Reddy in the past and also sought the information of the property details of Dinesh Reddy and his wife, he has ushered his men onto her father. She complains that CM Kiran Kumar Reddy also join hands with DGP Dinesh Reddy and allows CID to harass her father and family members in the name of inquiries. She writes that the state police have already damaged their family reputation by arresting her father and now CID officials worsen the situation. Hence she asked Sonia Gandhi to intervene and order CM and DGP to stop harassing her family.   However, it appears Sushmita has developed political interests with the latest developments and trying to gain political mileage out of the developments, since she has seen the overwhelming support to her father. Otherwise, she would have approached the local court or home minister Sabita Indra Reddy for the justice.

Actress Kushboo's House Attacked

        Actress Kushboo‘s house in Chennai came under attack by some unidentified people today. If sources are to be believed, the attack was made in reaction to her interview to a Tamil magazine, in which she had stated that the president of the DMK could only be selected through intra-party elections.   Earlier this afternoon, on 7th February, at around 1.30 p.m nearly 50 unidentified individuals lodged an attack on Kushboo’s residence, shattering windows and vandalizing property, including her car. Kushboo has now approached the Commissioner of Police to lodge a complaint against what some party members claim to be vested interests.  

TDP MLA in CM camp office?

  TDP Dendhuloor MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, who hits the news headlines for announcing to leave the party soon few days ago, was smoothened by the party high command immediately. He blames his party for not supporting him in times of need, while the police are harassing him by filing petty cases against him. However, when he appeared in CM’s camp office at Hyderabad today, speculations about his jumping into Congress party gain momentum.   But, Prabhakar asserted that he is not leaving the party, but met the CM to appeal him to justify the cases filed against him by the local police. TDP high command yet to respond to his presence in its rival camp.

Modi’s first speech in Delhi inspiring

  Gujarat CM Narendra Modi has made an inspiring speech at Delhi Sriram College of Commerce on Wednesday. Unlike the typical speeches made by politicians, he talked about development and the role of youth for it. He said the youth is the strength and future of the country. Hence, they shouldn’t shrug off their social responsibilities by simply escaping with foreign jobs. He asked them not to let down their country, blaming corruption in the system.   He asked them to develop positive thinking and come forward for the sake of motherland. Exampling the Gujarat development, he said the same can be achieved in every state with the same infrastructure and people, if we have the will and strive hard to reach the goal. He said so far, all the political parties are considering the people as their vote banks only. Even now, the new generation is considered to be newly developed vote bank for the political parties. Now, the time has come for the political parties to seek votes on the development instead of seeking from its traditional vote banks.   He said the time has come to turn the whole country as a big entrepreneur to take over the world market, flooding with made in India products. Though, he doesn’t take Congress name on his lips, he sharply criticized the party for its failure to take the country ahead during these six decades. He quoted about the products, development, enthusiasm of his state and the people in making long strides in development. He wishes the whole country should develop with same pace and spirits taking Gujarat as role model. His plain but informative speech is quite impressing, opine the young students.   However, Congress being his rival digs at him on issues that leave dark patches on his image.

Parliament Budget sessions from 21st

  The budget sessions of the Parliament will begin from 21st of this month with President Pranab Mukharji address to both houses. The sessions will continue in two phases till May 10th. However, the sessions will be adjourned for one month from March 23rd to April 21st to study the reports submitted by the several standing committees on various issues. Railway budget will be submitted on February 26th and the general budget on 28th.   In wake of the T Congress MPs resignations and several other issues to be raised by the opposition parties, these sessions are considered to be significant. More over, in wake of mid-term elections rumors the present sessions of the parliament may be last sessions.

Kadapa former Mayor went underground

  Ravindra Reddy, former mayor of Kadapa and brother-in-law of late YS.Rajashekar Reddy went underground after the High Court rejects his petition to stay the cheating and forgery cases filed against him by the police. He was booked for forging the signature and the official seal of the district cooperative society officer.   He has submitted the copies of his complaint in which he has forged the district cooperative officer’s signature and official seal, to local cooperative officer asking to take action against TDP and Congress parties for casting bogus votes in Pedacheppali society in the Kamalapuram mandal. However, the society officials have found that the signature and the seal in the complaint copy is fake and hence they have lodged a complaint with police, who booked cases against him for cheating and forgery under sections: 420, 468, 471, 473.   Ravindra Reddy, who was seen discussing with district collector and DCO till Wednesday evening, has suddenly disappeared fearing arrest by the police, since the HC rejects his plea. Police are now searching for him.

Is TDP plans for distraction on T issue?

  Ever since, TDP has given its consent letter on Telangana issue in all party meeting, it was a smooth sail for it in Telangana region. Even, TRS softens its voice in dealing with TDP leaders. But, the pro Telangana decision by the party had its negative effect back in Andhra region. Though, Chandrababu is under playing with the bifurcation issue during his padayatra in Andhra region, the fire left beneath can burn his hands any time.   On the other end, a senior TDP leader Sudhish Rambotla has been talking about making the Hyderabad as second capital of the country, who argues it is the only best option to untie the knots on Hyderabad in bifurcation issue. Though, there were no takers all these days, suddenly another leader from TDP Somireddy Chandrashekar Reddy also joins him for the cause. Now both these TDP leaders are putting efforts to push this matter for a debate in the political circles.   Yet, the party president Chandrababu Naidu has not tried to stop them and also not given any clarification on their demand. Is this mean that both the leaders have his consent for going ahead with their new demand? If so, what about the TDP’s letter given in favor of Telangana in the all party meeting? Is it planning to distract the Telangana issue to overcome the problems in its back yard? Let the TDP clarify the doubts.

Swami Goud charge sheeted

  Former TNGO president Swami Goud, who is all set to contest in MLC elections soon, found himself fix with a charge sheet filed against by the Begumbazar Police for his alleged involvement in T NGO Housing society scam, that was allotted by the government in year 1991 at Gachchi bowli and Gopannapalle areas. The then secretary of the cooperative society ministry, Kiranmayi, who conducted an inquiry and confirmed the irregularities to the government. He was accused for the allotment of 250 plots to binami persons. Therefore, the police have filed a charge sheet against Swami Goud under sections 404, 406, 420, 120(బి), 156(3) recently. Police, who were summoned by the high court, said that Nampalli criminal court is handling the case.   Swami Goud denying the allegations said that he is innocent and the charge sheet was framed only to tarnish his image when he is contesting in the MLC elections.

Vijayamma flays Congress over cooperative poll verdict

  YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijaya Lakshmi responding to tall claims being made by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy on the cooperative society elections verdict said “Instead of feel ashamed for cheating the villagers, Kiran Kumar Reddy has been boasting about his victory before his party high command. When, there were hardly 39lakh voters for the societies, how come it just doubled to 51 lakhs in no time? Many villagers were wondering how their votes were disappeared from the lists. They were not given their voter books.   The elections are nothing but gross violence of the society norms. We know how your government has threatens the farmers of facing consequences if they not voted the Congress candidates. If, he believes that these elections verdict is a referendum on his government then he should be shamed of it. Congress has violated every norm and indulged in all odd practices to secure the societies in its favor.   After all, why should the farmers vote for Congress in the society elections? Shall they vote for it because it has increased the fertilizers and seeds prices? Are they expected vote for Congress because it has failed to supply power for the agriculture sector? Viajayamma shot several questions like this, which need to be answered by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and his party.

Chandrababu to enter Guntur today

  Despite ill health Chandrababu, who is determined to continue his padayatra has successfully completes his Krishna district schedule and will enter Guntur district today at Prakasham Barrage. Therefore, his party leaders and cadres are all set to give him a warm welcome at the entrance of the district near Prakasham barrage.   During this phase he will walk 150 km covering 4 municipality areas, 30 divisions of Municipal Corporation, 55 villages, during his 15days padayatra in Mangalagiri, Ponnur, Guntur East and West, Prattipadu, Tenali, Vemur and Repalle towns.   Chandrababu also achieve another landmark of his padayatra during his this phase in the Guntur district. He will cross 2000km milestone in the district. Hence, the party leaders of the district are planning make it a grand event by holding a huge public meeting to commemorate the occasion.
