Highest post for Kadiyam :KCR

TRS president KCR, while inducting TDP leader Kadiyam Srihari into party has said that Kadiyam will be honored with highest post in the party which will be a recognition for downtrodden communities in the society. He said Kadiyam deserves bigger than MP, MLA posts for his caliber in politics. He said Kadiyam’s joining into party has boosted his spirits and thanked him for joining TRS. He lashes at TDP leaders for speaking rubbish against Kadiyam for leaving the party.   Speaking on the occasion Kadiyam Srihari has said “I have joined TRS merely to participate in Telangana struggle. I have participated in this struggle way back in my college days and even went to jail for Telangana cause then. But, after joining TDP I feel my hands tied. I was quite upset for not being able to actively participate in Telangana agitations. So, finally I realized that working for my mother Telangana which gave me birth is more important than serving TDP which gave me political birth. Now, I feel quite relieved and can participate in Telangana agitations. Leaders should change realize that they should change their agenda according to people’s agenda and should not expect them to follow their agenda. I here by appeal all others in other parties, who are facing same situation to join TRS and participate in the Telangana agitations. I assure that I will wholeheartedly work for the party and agitations.”   It seems KCR is indicating that he want to make Kadiyam Srihari as first chief minister of the state when Telangana is formed. Knowing that Telangana is a far-away -dream that yet to happen in future, KCR might be very wisely playing his cards to lure other top leaders in other parties by stating so in favor Kadiyam. But, is there anyone to take his bait?

Delhi keeps the state Cong. on toes

Once again Delhi becomes the platform for the state Congress politics as its leaders are landing there to resolve different issues related to party and personal. PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana has returned from New Delhi after discussing several issues raised by him and decedents against chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s style of functioning. Then, Eluru MP Kavuri Sambhasiva rao also hurriedly left for New Delhi yesterday for lobbying with party high command to get central minister post. He said being senior in the party he deserves a central minister post. He thought that this would be his last chance to enter into Dr.Manmohan Singh’s cabinet, as hardly 11 months are left for the general elections.   Next, chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is also planning to visit New Delhi on 13th or 14th to discuss several serious issues like decedents, backing his stained ministers, reshuffle of his cabinet and conducting municipal elections etc. However, before going to New Delhi, he has been rigorously launching his welfare schemes to popularize himself among the people. Knowing that party new chief Rahul Gandhi is gathering information about individual’s contribution in party activities and feed back from grass root level party workers through his own network, Kiran is playing his cards wisely by trying to attract the support of the 2nd and 3rd rank cadres of the party.   He believes that while his efforts will send a positive feed back about him to party high command, at the same time it can also balance the decedents in the party. He may insist the party high command to give him a free hand to firmly deal with decedents and for a cabinet reshuffle to ensure a smooth run of his government for facing the general elections in the next year.   Hence, many crucial changes may takes place in the state congress and government after chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s visit to New Delhi.

Dadi likely to play key role in YSRCP

Dadi Veerabhadra rao, who recently joins YSR Congress party is likely to play key role in the party. Despite knowing that Konathala Ramakrishna and his followers are opposing his entry into party, Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to take him into state political affairs committee as member. He is also planning to make him as the in-charge of north coastal Andhra districts of the party.Obviously, it leaves Konathala and his followers in deep shock. They have openly expressed their discontent over Jagan’s decision with his representative Balineni Srinivas Reddy, who was sent to negotiate with them as a last ditch of efforts to settle the matter.   According to latest reports, Jagan Mohan Reddy rather prefers to loose Konathala than Dadi as he doesn’t want those leaders, who can’t obey his orders.   Although, Konathala is in touch with Congress leaders, he ruled out joining the party stating ‘I am not responsible, if the Congress leaders are predicting my joining into party.’ However,Konathala may not be able to work along with Dadi, with whom he has rivalry for the last three decades. More over, if Dadi is made in-charge of north coastal Andhra districts, then his role in the party will be reduced to his Anakapalli constituency only, which he don’t want to happen. Hence, the ball is Konathala court and it is his turn to spell his mind about what he and his followers want to do next in case Dadi is given charge of the party affairs.
