Use Face Book n Twitter to reach urban youth: Babu

  The tech savvy Chandrababu Naidu has suggested his party cadres to reach the urban youth utilizing the social network platforms like Face Book and Twitter etc, who forms a major part in the urban vote bank. He said “We have to convince the youth to vote for us in the upcoming elections. Their contribution in the voting will make a huge difference. CBI blames Kiran Govt for backing Dharmana

  Minister Dharmana Prasada rao’s petition challenging CBI court’s verdict of allowing CBI to prosecution has come before High Court yesterday. During a heated argument between CBI and Dharamana’s lawyers, CBI has openly blamed Kiran Kumar Reddy government for backing Minister Dharmana Prasada rao despite knowing his role in Vanpic lands issue. Ashok Bhan, representing CBI has expressed dismay over the state government’s attitude in backing the accused.   He said Dharmana has indulged in corrupt practice by misusing his powers as minister by granting 18,000 acres of land to Vanpic, where as the cabinet has approved 4,000 acres only, which itself proves his involvement in the case. He argued that Dharmana can’t be immune even though he is serving as a minister in the present government, because the case is related to his previous position in the previous government.   His public servant status and its immune automatically seizes as he has participated in the 2009 elections. He said the CBI court has allowed for his prosecution only after considering all these facts. But, Dharmana has filed this criminal revision petition in the High Court, while a case is pending at CBI court and while the CBI is investigating into it. Hence, he appealed the High Court to reject his petition.   Dharmana has deployed a senior advocate B. Kumar from Bangalore to counter CBI in the High Court. He argued that under section 19 of anti corruption laws, CBI can’t prosecute any minister unless the government grants permission for it.   He brings to court notice about CBI court’s earlier suggestion to attach the copy of the government’s permission forDharamana’s prosecution. He said the same court setting aside its own suggestion has allowed for his prosecution. He argued that the CBI court has no rights to alter its orders under section 362 of CRPC, merely because CBI has submitted a memo asking for his prosecution. He once again reiterated that the decision taken by his client Dharmana is not an individual one but it was a collective decision taken by the then cabinet. Hence, Dharmana can’t be blamed for the irregularities in this case, said B.Kumar.   The court has adjourned the case to 29th April.

Jayaprada meets Sonia Gandhi

  Rampur MP Jayaprada, who is wondering around all political parties with only one agenda of getting Lok Sabha ticket from Rajhamundry constituency. There were speculations about her joining in YSR Congress party. But, she suddenly appeared in Sonia Gandhi’s house at 10 Janpath road in New Delhi on Thursday morning. She had a brief meeting with her for around 20 minutes only. She says that she met Sonia Gandhi only to complain against the police officials who have removed Red light from her VIP vehicle. But, she might have met Sonia Gandhi expressing her readiness to join Congress party, if she was given party ticket from Rajhamundry constituency. But, she too aware that she can’t insist Sonia Gandhi to order Undavalli Arun Kumar to vacate seat for her.

KK also takes ‘U’ turn on leaving party

  The speculations about Telangana Congress MPs joining TRS party have gradually dies as none from the Congress party has come forward to take the bait thrown by TRS president KCR. Senior Congress leader K.Keshav rao, who until now has been talking in favor TRS also finally takes ‘U’ turn stating that the Telangana Congress leaders will work together on Telangana issue. China dictate terms to India for pull out

  The incursion of Chinese troops into Depsang valley that is 10km inside the Indian Territory and China’s refusal to retreat escalates tensions between the two countries. A second flag meeting held by the local commanders of both sides on Tuesday has ends up with China laying terms to India for pull out, which demands to destroy some of its positions in eastern Ladakh.   The tensions further escalates with Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying reiterating there was no incursion by Chinese troops, but they are well inside the Chinese LAC. He asserts the government will take every step to protect national integrity and security   A 3rd flag meeting is likely to take place with in this week to find an amicable solution to the put a lid on the boarder dispute. Currently, India has deployed matching forces opposite Chinese troops just 500 meter away to avert further incursion into Indian Territory.

Adikeshavulu Naidu died

  Former TTD Chairman and former MP Adikeshavulu Naidu (71) died at his own hospital-Vaidhehi near Bangalore on Wednesday night. He was admitted in the hospital to undergo a minor operation for removing a blood clot under knee joint. Soon after he was operated he had a heart stroke and again undergoes a bye-pass surgery on the very next day on 22nd. Ever since, his condition turns critical and he breathed his last on yesterday night. He was survived by wife, son and two daughters.   Adikeshavulu is a great devotee of Bhagawan Satya Sai Baba. His death coincides with Baba’s, who passed away exactly on the same day two years ago. Congress and TDP leaders including CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Chiranjeevi, TTD present Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju, Chandrababu, Sujana Chowdary and others have expressed their grief over his sudden demise. His funerals will take place in the hospital premises on Thursday evening.

No incrusion into Indian Territory: China

  Chinese troop consisting 50 army personals have entered into Depsang Valley, which falls into Indian Territory on April 15th and made a camp there. However, the Indo Tibetan Boarder Police (ITBF) guarding the zone, initially thought that it was yet another incursion due to different perception of the Line of Control (LoC) either side and raises the banner as a common practice to warn their counter parts about the incursion. However, the Chinese troops have shown no indication of retreating, instead they makes a night camp also. Hence, the ITBF also forced to deploy matching troops on the opposite side. Later, a flag meeting has been held between the local commanders from both sides on April 18th but fails to come to consensus. External Affairs Ministry has asked its Chinese counterpart to revert its troops, but shocked to hear refusal from other end.   Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying reiterating their stand has said “I want to reiterate here that the Chinese border troops have been acting in strict compliance with the bilateral agreements and conducting normal patrol on the Chinese side of the LoC. They have never crossed the line.” She further states both sides have opened the communication channels to discuss the issue though the consultation mechanisms on boundary issue and asked India to abide by consensus in the interest of both countries. Explosions in White House, panic over fake message

  A fake message that appears in Associated Press Council’s Twitter account on Tuesday -"Breaking: Two Explosions in the White House and Barack Obama is injured," created havoc world over. However, it was some handy work of some hackers, who hacks The AP Council social account and posted the fake message. The fake message is posted by a group of hackers which names themselves as "Syrian Electronic Army' and also leaves a message below stating-"Syrian Electronic Army was here."   Twitter is the first to react to message which immediately suspends the account @AP. AP Council also immediately removed the fake message and made a public statement clarifying the issue.   White House officials also condemned the message and declared President Obama is safe and no explosions take place inside the White House.   Journalists E Mc.Morris-Santoro, Buzz feed’s White House reporter, tweeted, "from here in the WH basement, this acct (AP) seems hacked."   Although, the fake message appears for a few minutes, it adversely affects on the US Stock Markets. Dow Jones Industrial Average has lost 130 points, or 0.9 percent, and the S&P has recorded a drop of 12 points.   AP Council officials’ states that probably it happens due to a phishing email message received by some of its employees.   In February this year, leading confectioner Burger King’s Twitter account was also hacked and fake message created havoc, which went like this- “The ‘Burger King’s company has been acquired by McDonald's.”

Aadikeshavulu’s health critical

  Former TTD chairman DK Aasdikeshavulu’s health condition is very critical and he is now on ventilator since last 24 hours. He was admitted in Vaidehi hospital near Bangalore for undergoing an operation of blood clot under knee joint three days back. However soon after he was operated, he had a heart stroke on the consequent day and got operated for it also. Now he is on ventilator and doctors said his condition is critical and can’t give any assurance until next 48 hours. His family and followers have offered special prayers at Tirumala and other temples in Chittoor district for his fast recovery.

SC rejects Jagan’s plea

  Once again Jagan Mohan Reddy had a set back in Supreme Court over his bail petition, which adjourns his case to 29th April. The court also rejects his lawyer Viswanath’s appeal to serve notices to CBI stating its prejudice to do so without hearing the arguments. However, the court has agreed to detach Jagan’s bail petition, which was clubbed with Nimmagadda’s bail petition and Vijayasai Reddy’s bail cancel petitions. It has agreed to take-up his bail petition on 29th as against 30th April decided by the court. The bench comprising Justice P.Sadhasivam and Justice Iqbal has adjourned the other two cases to April 30th.   Jagan’s hopes of releasing in the April were shattered as his case is adjourned to month end. The assurances given by his sister Sharmila and mother Vijayamma to people about his release have also not become true with court’s decision. If, the court agrees with his lawyers arguments against CBI over its intentional delaying in investing his cases and considers his plea he may get a bail even on 29th April. If he is released on bail, definitely he is going to impact the political situation in the state.

Two Hindi films release kept on hold in Pakistan

  Pakistan may indulge in a cold war against India, but its people are as crazy as Indians to watch Hindi movies. They are so obsessed with Hindi films that often they ignore their native Pakistani films. That is why, Pakistani film distributors and exhibitors have decided to put two big Hindi films- Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai’ on hold for a while to enable their own films get the full audiences.   Both these Hindi films are made targeting Eid festival on August 8th, but had a set back with the distributors’ decision. Abdul Rashid, the leading film distributor of Pakistan has agreed that an estimated loss of Rs.20 crores will occur due to this decision. He said this decision was taken to enable four Pakistani films-'Ishq Khuda', 'War', 'Josh' and 'Mera Naam Afridi' releasing on the same day get full audiences. He said both the Hindi films will be released on August 15th but by the time piracy may narrow their margin.

MLA house arrests daughter for 3 years

  Ramya, the daughter of Eeli Nani, the Congress MLA from Tadepalligudem, escapes from her home and lodged a complaint against her father with Legal Cell in Guntur today. She complains that her father has kept her under house arrest for the last 3 years, because she falls in love with Sundeep with whom she also got married long back. She says that her father who disapproves her marriage with Sundeep has kidnapped him with the help of police and kept her under house arrest. She said that she has no other option but to flee away from home as her father is planning for her 2nd marriage very soon. She appealed the court to ensure safe return of her husband.   But, Nani who returns from Tirupati after knowing about these developments has rubbished all her allegations and said she has given her free hand in every matter and gave her full freedom. He said if he really has planned for her marriage, he would have done it long ago, but has no such idea that hurts her feelings. He said that he will not interfere in her matters any further.   While, they both are hitting the media, Ramy's husband Sundeep has suddenly appeared before IG office late in the evening on Tuesday. Police have produced him before the court.  

Jagan, KCR most effective persons: India Today

  The leading Indian magazine India Today gives No.1 rank to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the 10 most effective persons of the state. It takes several factors like popularity, power and influence on the society etc in giving these ranks. It opines, despite being jailed Jagan Mohan Reddy still has his influence on the people of the state and going to play vital role at National level politics as per the assessment of the present situation. Neither CM Kiran Kumar Reddy nor TDP president Chandrababu Naidu have found place in this list, but TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao occupies 2nd place in the list. To their surprise DGP Dinesh Reddy stood next to KCR in 3rd place. The others are GV Prasad (Pharmacy); BBR Mohan Reddy (Infotech Enterprises); C.Pardha Saradhi( Finance); Mandali Buddha Prasad; G.Surendra Prasad (Yashodha Hospitals). Quite surprisingly Mahesh babu and Pullela Gopichand have occupied last two positions in this top 10 list.
