Botsa family joined YSR Congress

  As reported earlier, former PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana and his wife Botsa Jhansi Rani joined the YSR Congress party at Lotus Pond in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s presence on Sunday morning. Former MLAs Botsa Appala Narasiah and Appala Naidu, DCCB Chairman Tulasi also joined the YSR Congress party along with him today.

Kodandaram not happy with KCR?

  T-JAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram may be in dilemma on how to deal with the Telangana Chief Minister KCR, with whom he worked hand in hand during Telangana agitations period but now was set aside by him. He can’t criticize him as it may send a wrong message to the people that he is doing so because he was ignored by the Chief Minister. At the same time, he can’t prize him and his government as there are several visible problems that need to be addressed by the government. Hence, now and then he criticizes the Chief Minister indirectly and modestly pointing some problems. However, Chief Minister KCR never responds to his criticism indicating that he not even noticing him and his media statements. But, Kodandaram keep shooting shots at him, as if it becomes a routine practice for him.   Speaking at a meeting, he said “Telangana state was formed with the collective efforts and fights of lakhs of people and not with any individual or party’s efforts. So, we don’t need anyone’s invitation to celebrate the state formation day. We can celebrate it since we also contributed a lot for achieving it.”   “The huge expectations on transforming of Telangana state into a developed state still seem to be a distant dream. Youth have expected lakhs of job opportunities if Telangana state is created. But, they are very much disappointed to see there is no change in the situation even today. The agriculture sector is facing the same problems even today that it faced before bifurcation of the state. Hence, the state government has to review this situation and should take appropriate steps to address all these problems,” said Professor Kodandaram.

Gutta Sukhendar Reddy’s brother joins TRS

  Nalgonda Congress MP Gutta Sukhendar Reddy is one of the strong soldiers of the party in the Telangana state. He defends his party from the ruling TRS party attacks and also often strongly criticize the ruling TRS government and its Chief Minister KCR’s ruling style. But, his own brother Gutta Jitendar Reddy and Chairmen of several societies have left the Congress today and joined the TRS party.   Former minister and the Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his brother Rajagopal Reddy both met Telangana Chief Minister KCR today, hinting that they also may abandon the Congress party anytime. These unpredicted developments evaporate the happiness of the party of winning the council elections. These developments are indicating that Rahul Gandhi’s recent flying visit to the state has no effect at all on the party.

Are they really Janasena workers?

  A group of people carrying Janasena flags have conducted a rally near Kaleswara Rao market area in Vijayawada today morning demanding the TDP and BJP Union Ministers quit their posts for failing to get special status to the state until now. They claim themselves as Pawan Kalyan fans and said that conducting the rally with his inspiration. They squarely blamed Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu for bluffing the people all these days with his false assurances.   However, they seem to keep Pawan Kalyan in dark about their rally as there was no hint from him about it directly or in his Twitter account. His account remained inactive since April 10th. Although they claim themselves as his fans, unless he acknowledges them and their protest rally, people may not consider their claims. If, Pawan Kalyan condemns or ignores their action, then it is to be assumed as a handy work of some opposition parties.   If so, obviously one would suspect the YSR Congress party first because it is the one insisting the TDP to withdraw its Union Ministers from the Modi cabinet for the same reasons. Earlier, it played same kind of mind games with the TDP and Jr.NTR family with its flexi banners idea, with which it was able to create rift between them both.   Hence, now also it may be trying to create rift between the TDP and BJP leaders with this idea, knowing that Pawan Kalyan neither can support their rally nor can condemn it. However, TDP and Pawan Kalyan both should wake up before it is too late to do anything. Pawan Kalyan should make an announcement on their rally or else people may suspect that he may be encouraging them from behind.

Will make “Amaravathi” a Tourist Hub says Babu

In a major boost to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N.Chandra Babu Naidu in a public meeting held on the eve of Bhoomi Pooja for new capital “Amaravathi” stated that they would develop Amaravathi as a tourist spot as well as financially too. Addressing the people gathered in huge numbers he said that land acquirement for capital area has exceptional and is inspirational to entire country and the best ever, that is the reason it is named after “Amaravathi” which was a capital for all goddesses. He also said that these showers show the consent from the gods and goddesses. He cleared that their government would never forget the land donors and requested to not get influenced by the words of ill forces. Probe begins into Revanth Reddy’s Scam

TDP MLA Revanth Reddy who is an accused in vote for cash scam on Saturday morning has been taken in to custody by the ACB after court gave its consent on custody petition yesterday. As per the behest of the court, Revanth Reddy, Sebastian Hari and Rudra Udaysimha have been handed over to ACB for 4 days after a custody petition was leveled against them by the ACB. The court also mentioned the time constraints for investigation must be from 9am to 5.30pm. He will be taken to ACB office for the investigation process. On the other hand, Revanth’s bail petition will come for hearing on June 9 and judgement might come favourable to him on the eve of his daughter’s marriage.

Foundation Stone laid for “Amaravathi"

Foundation stone has been successfully laid by Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu along with his wife for the new capital region of Andhra Pradesh “Amarvathi” exactly at 8:49am today in Tulluru Mandal of Guntoor district. Formalities of AP Capital “Bhoomi Pooja” have started early hours of Saturday at 3am.Priests have been paying Worships and “HOMAM” with the Waters of five sacred rivers along with waters of manasarovar. The Program has been talking place in survey No: 136 lies between the villages of Mandhadam- Tallaya Palem. Central Minister Nirmala Seetharaman, several state Ministers, MPs, DGP and several TDP MLAs have also made appearance at “Bhoomi Pooja”. ............SRIKAR PALWAI

TDP MP ready to jump next?

  It seems TDP MP Mallareddy from Malkajgiri constituency is also preparing to leave the party to join the ruling TRS party. He praised Telangana Chief Minister KCR, during a function held at Hyderabad on Friday where CM KCR handed over the ownership documents to of the newly constructed double bed room flats to the poor people.   Speaking on the occasion Mallareddy said “Fortunately, Telangana state gets a best Chief Minister after its formation. He is striving very hard for the welfare of the poor. I am sure Telangana state will be developed rapidly under his efficient ruling.”   It is to be noted that he praised Telangana CM KCR, while his party MLA Revanth Reddy, while all the TDP leaders including both states and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is strongly criticizing him for trapping their MLA Revanth Reddy by the ACB. One can’t believe he casually praised the Telangana Chief Minister on the occasion. If, he has no interest in the TRS party, then he would have absented from the function keeping in view of the prevailing tense situation between two parties. But, he not only attends it and also showered praises on TRS chief KCR. So, he may jump into the TRS party any day from now onwards.

Revanth’s bail petition to come for the hearing on June-9

A petition leveled against TDP MLA Revanth Reddy by the ACB seeking for the custody in Vote for Note scam has been postponed to 4pm and judgement on the petition is likely to come this evening.   On the other hand, Revanth Reddy’s bail petition will be coming for the hearing on 9th of June, simultaneously ACB making all efforts to file counter petition on 8 June.   It is well known that Revanth Reddy on Sunday has been caught red handedly trying to buy MLA to vote in their favour. It is also reported that his daughter’s marriage which is falling on June 11 might well show effect in granting the bail in his favour. -Srikar. Palwai

EC gives a nod to Bhoomi Pooja

In a major relief to the Andhra Pradesh government, the election commission of India on Thursday has given consent to “Bhommi Pooja” for Building new capital to the newly formed state Andhra Pradesh as well as for Agricultural University in Guntoor.   The government had sought the permission to lay foundation to the new capital city as election code has come in to force for the upcoming MLC elections under local bodies. Election commissioner for Telangana and AP, Bhanwarlal said that a conditional permission has been given to AP government over their presentation of achievements after coming to power.   However, the election commissioner cleared that government should not make promises for new schemes or development activities until the code is in force. -Srikar.Palwai

Revanth Reddy’s bail petition case adjourned

  The ACB special court posted the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy’s bail petition and the ACB’s petition seeking his custody to June 9th. The public prosecutor who appears for the ACB appealed the court to grant five days custody of Revanth Reddy to question him about the balance Rs.4.5 crores amount and to collect his phone calls details.   But, the defence lawyer Jandyala Ravi Shankar argued that his client Revanth Reddy is a victim of political conspiracy planned by Telangana Chief Minister KCR. He reminds the court about CM KCR statement of ‘you will hear sensational news in next one hour’ prior to Revanth Reddy’s arrest by the ACB. He argued that Supreme Court is not considering the evidences collected through sting operations.   The court adjourned the case to June 9th and asked the ACB to file its counter on or before June 8th. If, the court doesn’t grant him bail in the next hearing, then his lawyers may file a separate petition seeking permission to attend the engagement function of his daughter scheduled for June 11th.

CM Camp office at Vijayawada inauguration on 6th

  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will perform Bhoomi Puja for AP capital city Amaravati at Mandadam village in Thullur mandal tomorrow morning at 8.49 am. However, Pundits will start Homam and other rituals from night 3 am. Hence, CM Chandrababu Naidu will reach Vijayawada today evening and stay there tonight. After completing Bhoomi Puja at Mandadam village, he will return to Vijayawada and inaugurate his camp office readied for him at Governorpeta. He will run the government from there itself three days a week. Hence, nine related departments will shift to Vijayawada very soon. He and the Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju will inaugurate the Kadapa Airport on June 7th.

Errabelli accuses KCR over Horse Trading TD MLAs

Telangana TDLP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Thursday lambasted Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy for allegedly posting baseless comments on Chandra Babu Naidu to defame the party in Telangana.   Addressing to the media in Palakurthi, Errabelli Dayakar Rao alleged that KCR had offered nearly 20 crores TDP MLAs to join their party and made it clear that they have all necessary records to prove this.   He also asserted that they would hand over all these records to the Central Government and fight the issue legally in the court. He also posted a question that for a party which has only 63 MLAs, how could it win five MLCs? , he cleared that it is only possible when other party MLAs offered money. He also said that TDP MLA Manchi Reddy Kishan Reddy himself acknowledged that he was given money for his defection. -Srikar.Palwai

Congress expels Botsa after he resigns?

  Entire media highlights the news about Congress high command suspending its former PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana from the party for indulging in anti-party activities. AP PCC president Raghuveera Reddy announced the same and said that party will not spare anyone if violates the discipline. He describes the party decision as a strong warning to all those who violates party discipline.   But, it would be interesting to know that Botsa Satyanarayana has sent his resignation letter to his party high command and also to the PCC President Raghuveera Reddy three days back. Instead of approving his resignation letter, Congress party expels him from party hiding the fact that it has his resignation letter in hand. Hence, Congress party seems to be fooled itself by suspending him from party while hiding about his resignation letter. However, it makes no difference for him as he already made arrangements for joining the YSR Congress party on June 7th at 7.10 am.   Raghuveera Reddy said “If anyone wants to leave the Congress party, we won’t object them. But, we will not excuse if they try to harm our party even when they are leaving the party.”   Raghuveera Reddy’s statement hints that he is very much worrying about the damage that Botsa Satyanarayana is going to make to the Congress party in the state, particularly in the Vizianagaram district while leaving the party. Evidently, he may encourage his followers and some important leaders of the party in the district and state as well to jump into the YSR Congress party. However, Congress party may not stop him damaging to the party now. It may be very difficult for it to find a replacement for him in the district. If he takes away the party cadres along with him, then the party has to shut its shop in the district. Probably, that’s why Raghuveera Reddy is worrying about now.

AICC expels Botsa Sathyanarayana

Andhra Pradesh PCC Chief Raguveera Reddy on Friday issued an ultimatum that party would not tolerate any misdeed in party affairs; even any high profile leader is not an exception. Speaking to the media at Vishakapatnam Airport, party high command has suspended former PCC Chief Botsa Sathyanarayana on the grounds of misconduct for acting against parties decisions. He also asserted that Congress would not contest in the heading MLC elections as they do not have enough strength to win. He also proclaimed that Congress will never encourage defection through horse trading the MLAs. The development has come out as Botsa Sathyanarayana decided to join YSRCP on June 7 to revive his political career. -Srikar.Palwai

Congress suspends Botsa from party

  Former PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana was suspended from the Congress party for indulging in anti-party activities. Congress high command informed about its decision to the AP PCC President Raghuveera Reddy by phone yesterday. Botsa Satyanarayana, his family members and their followers are all set to join the YSR Congress party on June 7th. Botsa Satyanarayana has also fixed muhurtham for joining the YSR Congress party. He and his followers will join the party exactly at 7.10 am on June 7th.   Hence, it becomes inevitable for the Congress party to take action against him, but it makes no difference for him as he already made a deal with the YSR Congress party present Jagan Mohan Reddy for joining his party. Although, he is likely to be assigned to Visakhapatnam district, since he can’t afford to lose grip on his native Vizianagaram district, he may do something to keep his hold on the district politics. Obviously, it may drive out some senior leaders like Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Baby Nayina and seniors from the YSR Congress party. Then, he may be given charge of Vizianagaram district also. If so, the first thing he may do is encouraging all the Congress party cadres to join the YSR Congress party. Hence, his departure from the party would be a big blow to the beleaguered Congress party. Unless, it finds an urgent replacement for him in the district, it has to close its shop in the district.

20 Army men killed in militants attack in Manipur

  Twenty army personals were killed and 11 injured in militants attack in Manipur on Thursday morning around 9 am. The militants are suspected to be Manipur rebel outfit Peoples Liberation Army (PLA). The militants have used rocket-propelled grenades landmines and automatic weapons in the attack. This incident takes place between Paralong and Charong villages, when a convoy of four army vehicles carrying a team of 6th Dogra Regiment.   The army personal were going for a road opening patrol (ROP) along Tengnoupal-New Samtal road, about 80 km from Imphal. The militants have attacked the army vehicles with a powerful improvised explosive device, said a police official. The militants are suspected to be PLA, supported by the Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup, a revolutionary organization in Manipur, said Manipur Home Secretary J Suresh Babu.   Home Minister Rajnath Singh has summoned an urgent meeting with the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Army Chief Dalbir Singh Suhag and Nation Security Advisor Ajit Doval. He asked them not to let any militant escape. He said strongest possible actions should be taken against the militants involved in this attack. The Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur has been closed to stop the militants fleeing to the neighboring country. A massive combing operationhas been ordered to nab the militants and all army installations in Manipur and Nagaland put on high alert to prevent any further attacks by the militants.

Kadapa Airport to become operational from 7th

  The Civil Aviation Ministry has announced that Kadapa Airport will be inaugurated on June 7th. Union Civil Aviation Minister P. Ashok Gajapati Raju and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the airport on June 7th at 11.30 am.   Kadapa airport was built at a cost of Rs.42 crore by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in 520 acres of land provided by the state government. The airport terminal was built to handle 100 passengers at peak time. The runway is capable to handle ATR-72 type aircraft operations. Airport will be expanded and upgraded to operate A320 flights depending on growth of passenger traffic.   Air Pegasus will be the first to take off from Kadapa Airport to Bengaluru on the June 7th at 11.50 am. It already opened bookings for its air services between Kadapa and Bengaluru. Air Pegasus will take off from Bengaluru at 10.40 am and lands at Kadapa Airport at 11.25 am. Again it will take off from Kadapa at 11.50 am and reaches leave for Bengaluru at 12.35 pm.

CBN sharply reacts to T-HM Nayini statement

  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu strongly reacted on the Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy’s statement. Speaking at a meeting in Chebroulu today, Chandrababu Naidu said “Telangana Home Minister is trying to blackmail me by threatening to file cases against me. I am not afraid of cases. He should file a case against his own Chief Minister first for locking our party MLAs in KCR’s house before the MLC elections. Responding on Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Samara Deeksha conducted at Mangalagiri, Chandrababu Naidu said he is creating hurdles for the development of the state and is trying to misguide the people of the state. I am not afraid of his meaningless criticism. I will keep working for the state development.”
