Foundation stone has been successfully laid by Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu along with his wife for the new capital region of Andhra Pradesh “Amarvathi” exactly at 8:49am today in Tulluru Mandal of Guntoor district.

Formalities of AP Capital “Bhoomi Pooja” have started early hours of Saturday at 3am.Priests have been paying Worships and “HOMAM” with the Waters of five sacred rivers along with waters of manasarovar. The Program has been talking place in survey No: 136 lies between the villages of Mandhadam- Tallaya Palem.

Central Minister Nirmala Seetharaman, several state Ministers, MPs, DGP and several TDP MLAs have also made appearance at “Bhoomi Pooja”.
