Roja to campaign in Warangal by elections

  Veteran actress and YSR Congress party MLA Roja will campaign for her party candidate Nalla Suryaprakash, who is contesting for Lok Sabha seat in Warangal by elections. Roja will start campaign ahead of her party president Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is planning to start campaigning from November 16th for four days continuously.   YSR Congress party’s presence in these by elections itself is enough to create a negative feeling or impact image for self and also to the BJP candidate Dr. Devaiah, whom TDP is supporting. YSR Congress party might entered the race to indirectly help the TRS party for polarization of Telangana people’s votes.   Roja, who is known as vociferous leader may first aim her guns at ruling TRS party and then TDP-BJP, Congress candidates. The more she attacks the ‘self-proclaimed home party’ TRS, the more votes can be polarized in favor of TRS party. It will provide an opportunity to TRS for stamping the TDP supported BJP candidate and YSR Congress party’s candidates as Andhra parties’ candidates.   YSR Congress party also can make damage to BJP candidate by clinching TDP share of votes to self. Actually, YSR Congress party need not to contest in these by elections because it has nothing to offer to people of Warangal, as it never fought for their problems with the TRS government. It may be enters into this race merely to help its secret ally TRS.

Winter sessions of Parliament from 26th

  In a cabinet meeting presided by union home minister Rajnath Singh at New Delhi today, it was decided to conduct winter sessions of parliament from November 26th till December 23rd.   Last time, Congress party and its alliance parties virtually stalled parliament proceedings for entire sessions demanding resignations of foreign minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan CM Vasundara Raje in connection with Lalit Modi case, and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivaraj Singh’s in connection with Vyapam scam.   This time it may be very difficult for the Modi government to face the Congress and RJD that feel rejuvenated by defeating the unbeatable BJP in Bihar assembly elections. Especially, Congress party may grab these sessions to showcase its strength over the Modi Government. This situation apperas to be exactly riverse when compared with the first parliament sessions helf after NDA comes into power at Centre. Then Modi government hits very hard at Congress and its allies and the scene appears to be reversing now.

Chandrababu unlikely to campaign in Warangal by elections

  It came to know that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is unlikely to join the campaigning in Warangal by elections. During a recent meeting held with his Telangana party leaders, he reportedly asked them to co-operate with the BJP and strive hard for the victory of its candidate Dr. Devaiah. He reportedly asked them to chalk out their own strategies for these by elections and strengthening the party in the state as well.   If, Chandrababu Naidu takes part in the electioneering in Warangal by elections, then he has to criticize CM KCR and his government. So, he entrusted the responsibilities to his party leaders of the Telangana state. This is hinting that he do not want to spoil his relations with his counterpart of Telangana state KCR, which are gradually start improving after KCR’s attendance to Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony. But, the two senior leaders of the party Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revanth Reddy, who are quarelling like enemies may provide enough stuff for the ruling TRS party and others in the by elections instead of helping the BJP candidate.

Janata Parivar wins 101 and leading in 71 out 243 seats

  The Nitish-Lalu combo made magic in Bihar assembly elections. Their Janata Parivar alliance has won 103 seats and is leading in 70 out of 243 constituencies. NDA lead by BJP won only 29 seats and is leading in 33 constituencies. Hence, Janata Parivar is going to form government in Bihar with absolute majority of 177 seats. Although, many media agencies have predicted victory for Janata Parivar, they predict maximum 140 seats for it, where as it is going to bag 177 seats.Nitish Kumar will form the government in Bihar for the 3rd time.   It is interesting to note Nitish Kumar, who will become Chief Minister of the state has won 40 seats and is leading in 29 seats thus 69 seats in total, whereas RJD lead by Lalu Prasad Yadav, which will become partner of his government has won 49 seats and is leading in 29 seats thus 78 seats in total. Hence, RJD is going to bag 9 seats more than Nitish Kumar’s party. However, Lalu Prasad Yadav declared that Nitish Kumar will become Chief Minister of the state. Lalu Prasad Yadav is said to be expecting Deputy Chief Minister Post.

Police confirms Sarika commits suicide!

  Warangal police submitted their remand report to the court on Saturday. According to it, Sarika and her children’s death was suicide and not any murder. However, they made it clear that Rajaiah and her family members often insisted her to commit suicide. In the remand report, they mentioned Sarika’s husband Anil as A1 accused, former Congress MP Rajaiah as A2, his wife Madhavi as A3 and the Anil’s second wife Sana as A4 in this case. However, police mentioned that Sana was absconding from them.   The details of remand report submitted to the court as follows:   Information collected from 24 persons, including house maids and drivers working in Rajaiah’s house and also neighbors. Troubles brewed for Sarika after Anil’s second marriage with Sana. Rajaiah, his wife and their son Anil were used to harass Sarika. Her police complaints against them are evidences for their harassment. Rajaiah family members intensified their harassment every time after she goes to police. They all insisted her to commit suicide. They virtually isolated her and her children.   Sarika commits suicide along with her kids fearing she and her children will be tortured if Rajaiah wins the Warangal by elections. She commits suicide around 4-4.30 am. The reason for their death is fire and smoke. Rajaiah’s neighbors informed the firefighting and 108 ambulance services after seeing smoke coming from Sarika’s bed room. Two gas cylinders were found in her bed room. One is full and other is empty.   Rajaiah and his wife files bail petition soon after police submits their remand notice to court on Saturday. In their bail petition, they have stated that they are not staying in that house where this tragic accident took place. They came there just one day before the incident keeping in view of bye elections. They both claim that they are innocent and not related to their daughter-in-law and her children’s deaths. Court adjourned their bail petition to November 12th.

Dont gauge Kashmir issue with Money Omar

  Former Jammu and Kashmir State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is unhappy for the huge financial package granted to the state by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Prime Minister Modi announced Rs. 80, 000 crore financial package to the state during a public meeting held at Srinagar by BJP and PDP, who are alliance partners in the state government. Obviously, the PDP, BJP coalition government lead by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayyeed and the people of the state are also very happy for this unprecedented Diwali Gift given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is not.   He said “Modi is trying to gauge the Kashmir issue with money. He is also repeating the same mistake again.” Omar Abdullah may want to say that instead of bargaining on the Kashmir issue with financial packages, resolve it by negotiating with Pakistan Government, which is demanding India to give up its sovereign rights on Kashmir.

Sarika ribs broken: postmortem report

  Forensic expert Naga Mohan, who studied the postmortem report of Sarika and her three kids, disclosed startling facts about their deaths.   He said “We found Sarika’s ribs were broken and her two kids Abhinav and Sriyan’s legs were broken. We found the chests of all the deceased filled with smoke. It is because they all inhaled smoke before they died.”   Hanamkonda DSP Shobhan Kumar also spoke to media about the progress of their investigation in this case. He said “We are waiting for Panchanama, Postmortem and Forensic reports. We are expecting to receive them in two or three days. We can come to any conclusion only after receiving the reports.”   Forensic expert’s statement about Sarika and her kids’ broken ribs and legs is indicating that someone assaulted them before they are killed in the fire accident. So, it may be a planned and brutal murder by someone of Rajaiah family, probably his son Anil may be indulged in this barbaric act.

Medical equipment manufacturing hub to be set up in AP

  AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with medical equipment manufacturers of India at Andhra Bhavan in New Delhi. He invited them to set up manufacturing units in the state. He said that his government is ready to allocate 300 acres of land at Visakhapatnam for this purpose. He explained them about the scope for exporting from the commercial sea port, if they set up their units at Visakhapatnam. However, he promised them to provide land and other infrastructure even if they choose some other place in the state. He said that his government will announce a special policy for setting up this medical equipment manufacturing units in the state.   Mr. Nath, convener of Medical Equipment Manufacturers positively responds to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s invitation. He said, “We are keen to set up our units in AP state also. Currently, there is a huge market for medical equipment in our country, but hardly we meet 22 per cent of the demand because of the high production costs and many other factors. Hence we depend on imports rather than manufacturing on our own, although we have enough skills. I appeal the AP Government to set up a common facility for device testing in the same hub.

Congress claims competition between it and TRS only

  Warangal by elections, Congress, TRS, BJP, Competition Telangana Congress party spokesperson Mallu Ravi speaking to media said “The main competition in Warangal by elections would be between our party and the ruling TRS. We do not treat BJP as our competitor because its candidate Dr. Devaiah not even knows the boundaries of the state.”   Ravi said “It’s Chief Minister KCR, who forced the people to face these by elections. He expels his deputy minister Rajaiah and ropes in Kadiyam Srihari into his place. We are sure people of Warangal will teach a good lesson to the ruling TRS party for fooling them.”   BJP leader Dr. K Lakshman also expresses similar opinion. He said, “We consider the ruling TRS party as our competitor and not the Congress party because people of the state forgotten the Congress party long ago. TRS party is intentionally making negative publicity about our party candidate Dr. P Devaiah, stating he has no idea about Warangal constituency and its problems because he worked in US for a longtime. But, the TRS leaders, who are finding fault with our candidate, should remember that CM KCR’s son KTR also has studied and worked abroad. When, KTR can contest in the elections and become Minister of the state then what is wrong with our candidate if he worked abroad and contesting elections?”

Sana flees away, police search teams formed

  Sana, with whom Sarika’s husband Anil is living in relation at Hyderabad, flees away after the news broke about the arrest of Sirisilla Rajaiah family members. Police are suspecting her involvement in the mysterious death of Sarika and her three kids on Tuesday night. Whether she was involved in their deaths or not, absconding from the police gives scope for suspicion about her involvement. Three police teams were formed to find her.   A police team reached Venkateswara Colony at Uppal in Hyderabad after collecting her address from Anil, but she is not there. Police teams are saying that it is only a matter of time to nab her. In the meantime, investigating officers are questioning Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and their son Anil. Clues team has submitted the evidences collected from the spot to the forensic labs. Once, the postmortem and forensic reports come out and then it will be known whether it was a suicide or planned murder.

Nirbhaya like incident at Bengaluru

  A Nirbhaya like rape incident came into light in Bengaluru. A bus driver raped a nursing student in the moving bus while his assistant (bus cleaner) was driving the bus. This incident takes place at Hospadu near Bengaluru on yesterday night. The driver of the bus raped the nursing student in the moving bus, after all her colleagues got down in the previous stops. Later, he left her in an isolated place and flees away. Some passersby shifted her to nearby hospital. Later, police nabbed the bus driver Ravi and his assistant after receiving a complaint from her. They were booked under Nirbhaya Act and will be produced in the district court on Friday afternoon.   This kind of rape and gang rape incidents are still taking place even after the Nirbhaya Act comes into effect. It is probably because so far no one was reported to be faced severe punishment in this kind of offences. The juvenile, who was found guilty in Nirbhaya gang rape case and convicted with three years term, will be freed from the Juvenile Home in New Delhi in the next month as he completes his term. This is a fine example how offenders can escape from the punishment. It is sending a wrong message and encouraging criminals like Ravi and the bus cleaner to indulge in such heinous crimes.

Exit Polls indicate stiff fight in Bihar

  Soon after the last and final phase of polling for Bihar Assembly was over, media agencies disclosed their exit poll survey reports in the evening. Almost all except two agencies predicted Nitish-Lalu combo Janata Parivar is likely to come to but with narrow margin. Hence, NDA chances of forming the government is also bright. If it could gather the support of independents and other parties it also can claim to form the government.    

Prime Minister Modi launches Sovereign gold bond scheme

    As declared earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a gold monetization, a gold bond scheme and also India’s first official gold coin on Thursday at New Delhi.   On this occasion he said “House or any immovable properties or even a car usually named after men in the family but women usually don't own anything. They own gold and it is a matter of their strength for them. Women should be empowered with registering movable properties on their names. Hence, we are introducing this gold bond scheme.”   He further said “It is estimated that India has around 20,000 tons of gold reserves in the form of ornaments with Indians. Then how anyone can say India is a poor country. If we put the gold in our homes there is risk of theft. If we put the gold in bank lockers we have to pay the carrying charges. However, it won’t earn any returns for us. This gold bond schemes will not protect your gold from loss or theft or carrying charges, but also earns you good returns periodically.”   Sovereign gold bond scheme details: Gold bonds will be issued by Reserve Bank of India on behalf of the Government of India. Hence, the gold deposits are highly secured. The bonds are held in the books of the RBI or in demat form eliminating risk of loss of scrip etc. The bonds are also available paper form if the investor opts for it. These bonds are issued in denominations of one gram gold and in multiples thereof.   The Sovereign gold bond can be used as collateral for loans and can be sold or traded on stock exchanges. The tenor of the bond is for a minimum of 8 years. However, investors are allowed to exit in 5the, 6th and 7th years. Investors are assured of the market value of gold at the time of maturity and periodical interest.   The minimum deposit for this scheme is 2 grams and maximum is 500 grams per person per fiscal year. Investor receives the ongoing market price at the time of redemption/ premature redemption. However, there might be a risk of capital loss if the market price of gold declines, though the investor does not lose in terms of the units of gold which he has paid for.   Gold Monetization scheme details: Notified banks will accept gold in any form and in shape from the people. People can choose any of the three different terms for their gold deposits. The Short Term (1-3 years) as any regular bank deposits and for Medium (5-7 years) and Long (12-15 years) Term Government Deposit Schemes.   Coins and bars can earn interest apart from the appreciation of value. The gold deposits either short term or medium or long term will earn interest based on gold weight and its appreciation value. People can take back their gold in form gold metal with purity of 995 fineness or in rupees as wished at the end of the term.   Apart from earning interest from these gold deposits, depositors are exempted from capital gains tax, wealth tax and income tax on these bonds redemption value.   Indian Gold Coin details: While the Sovereign gold bond scheme is intended to encourage the investors to deposit their unused gold and earn interest on it, Indian Gold Coin is vice versa. Designated & recognized MMTC outlets will sell these coins. Initially, the coins will be available in denominations of 5 and 10 grams. A 20 grams bar/bullion will also be available.   These first ever national gold coins will have the national emblem of Ashok Chakra engraved on one side and the face of Mahatma Gandhi on the other side. The Indian gold coin will be of 24 karat purity and 999 fineness and carries hallmark as per the BIS standards. The Indian Gold Coin is comes in anti-counterfeit features and tamper-proof packaging. The Indian Gold Coin is also part of Indian Gold monetization program.

Sarika and kids death: Murder or Suicide?

  The mysterious death of Sarika and her three kids in the fire accident that happens in former Congress MP Sirisilla Rajaih’s house two days ago has left many unanswered questions. First question is whether is it suicide or planned murder by Rajaiah family? This incident can be seen in two different angles.   Chances for suicide: Since Sarika has made suicide attempts twice in the past, this may be assumed as a suicide. Sarika wrote a letter to Congress high command requesting not to give chance to her father-in-law Rajaiah to contest in the Warangal by elections. The timing of this incident also strengthens this suspicion of suicide. She might have committed suicide along with her children to take revenge on her in-laws who have been harassing and spoiled her whole life. If seen the consequent developments after her death, it can be understood.   Rajaiah lost the chance of contesting by elections. Police arrests him, his wife and his son under suspicion of murder. This case will ruin Rajaiah’s political life forever. He and his family members were arrested. Whether or not proved guilty, Sarika and her kids’ deaths may put them behind bars for harassing her. Even if Rajaiah’s family members really want to murder her, then they may not choose this time for doing such crime when Rajaiah is all set to contest in the by elections. So, Sarika may commits suicide to take revenge on her in-laws.   May be a planned murder: Sarika’s husband, who is indulged in extramarital affair with a woman named Sana, was living with her in Hyderabad for a long time. He rarely visits his father’s home in Warangal where his wife Sarika and children are also living in the first floor in the same building. He was present in his father’s home, when this fire accident took place. This is raising suspicion on him.   According to neighbors, Sarika and Rajaih’s wife Madhavi used to fight quite often because of Anil had neglected her and children as he is maintaining second family in Hyderabad. Police found that fire broke when gas leaked from the cylinder kept in Sarika’s bed room which is very unusual.   Generally gas cylinders are kept in kitchen room and not in the bed room. Police found the regulator was removed from the gas cylinder. Generally, when fire breaks due to gas lockage, cylinder will explode like a huge bomb, but it didn’t explode? Probably, it didn’t because the gas cylinder may be empty? So, someone in Rajaiah family probably Sarika’s husband Anil may be sedated and sets fire to them when they are asleep? May be!   Generally, if anyone caught in fire, he or she may definitely try to escape from it. Sarika also can escape from her room but she didn’t. Probably she and her children may be sedated with their food supplied by Rajaiah’s wife or someone else. Moreover, if she is not sedated then she can easily escape from the room, if the room doors are not locked from outside.   Police are questioning Rajaiah and his family members about this incident. Clues team has collected evidences. So, police have to find out whether this is a suicide or a brutal murder by someone.

Final round of polling for Bihar Assembly today

  Last and final round of polling for 57 seats of Bihar Assembly begins today sharply at 7am and it will continue till evening 5 pm. However, polling will ends at 3 Prime Minister in 276 polling stations which were in Maoists’ influenced areas.   Total voters: 1, 55, 43, 594; Male: 81, 84, 948; Female: 73, 51,277; No. of Polling stations: 14,709; EVM Stations: 14,722; Ballot polling stations: 18,866.   Total 827 candidates are in fray for the 57 constituencies in this final round of polling being held nine districts of Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supual, Madhepura, Saharsa, Araria, Kisanganj, Purnea and Katihar, including 24 in the Seemanchal region of the state.   Unlike previous phases of elections, the main competition would be between Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Pappu Yadav’s Jan Adhikar Party Loktantrik (JAP-L) and Owaisi’ All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) parties only. MIM party that is contesting for the first time in Bihar state, fields 6 candidates from Seemanchal region.   These parties may play King Maker roll in case if the NDA or Janata Parivar alliances fail to win sufficient seats on their own to form the government. Elections results will be declared on November 8th that is hardly three days away.

Cargo Plane crashed in Sudan, 20 killed

  A Russian cargo plane with on board 20 people crashed shortly after taking off from the Juba International Airport, in capital Juba on Wednesday afternoon. Except three passengers all passengers and crew members were killed. The plane crashed on a small island in the White Nile River, which is close to the airport. Farming communities lives there.   The plane was heading for Paloch in Upper Nile State crashed just 800 meters from Juba International Airport runway, reports a local radio station named Radio Miraya at Juba. The reasons for the plane crash are not known yet. The ill-fated cargo plane was a Russian-made Antonov transport plane. People living in remote places of southern Sudan often travels in cargo planes to reach their places. An intensive civil war broke out in South Sudan since last two years and it is still continuing. However, no groups come forward claiming responsibility for the crash.

Police arrests Rajaiah and family members

  Warangal Police takes former Congress MP Sirisilla Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil into custody in connection with the mysterious death of Rajaiah’s daughter-in-law and her three kids on yesterday night in a fire accident that takes place in their home. First, police questioned them at their home but later shifted to a local police station. Police have registered a case against them all and booked them under section 174. Women arrived in large numbers from surrounding areas tried attack Rajaiah family members, but somehow police managed to shift them to the police station.   Later, speaking to the media Warangal Police Commissioner Sudhir Babu said “We found that Rajaiah, his wife and son were in the house when this tragic incident occurred today early morning around 4-5 am. Our clues teams and forensic experts are collecting evidences from the spot. Unless we analyze them all, we can’t come to any conclusion whether it was a suicide or a planned murder by somebody. We will take action against the family members if found any evidences against them in our investigation.” Rajaiah’s daughter-in-law Sarika, and her three kids’ dead bodies which were turned into mere skeletons in the fire accident have been shifted to Warangal MG Hospital for postmortem.

Jana Reddy jumps for damage control

  Telangana PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy reacting on the tragic incident that takes place in Sirisilla Rajaiah’s home yesterday said “It is very unfortunate incident. Sarve Satyanarayana will contest in place of Rajaiah as he may not be able to contest by elections in the prevailing situation. I think this incident may show some negative impact on our party in the by elections.”   Uttam Kumar Reddy statement made in some emotional moments is sending a wrong message to the people. It is like telling that Congress chances of winning these by elections have come down with the incident. Obviously, it may makes the people believe Congress party made Sarve Satyanarayana as scapegoat to uphold its reputation in the by elections. Hence statement leaves much worse impact than the tragic incident occurred in Rajaiah’s home. In other words it is like accepting defeat even before contesting the elections.   Hence, K. Jana Reddy jumps at once for damage control. He said “Of course it is very unfortunate to see such things happen in our Congress member family. But, it won’t show any influence on the Congress party. Law will take its own course regarding this case. We shouldn’t speak about the case in the prevailing situation. Let us strive hard for the victory of our party candidate Sarve Satyanarayana in the by elections.”
