Cargo Plane crashed in Sudan, 20 killed

A Russian cargo plane with on board 20 people crashed shortly after taking off from the Juba International Airport, in capital Juba on Wednesday afternoon. Except three passengers all passengers and crew members were killed. The plane crashed on a small island in the White Nile River, which is close to the airport. Farming communities lives there.
The plane was heading for Paloch in Upper Nile State crashed just 800 meters from Juba International Airport runway, reports a local radio station named Radio Miraya at Juba. The reasons for the plane crash are not known yet. The ill-fated cargo plane was a Russian-made Antonov transport plane. People living in remote places of southern Sudan often travels in cargo planes to reach their places. An intensive civil war broke out in South Sudan since last two years and it is still continuing. However, no groups come forward claiming responsibility for the crash.
