Party cadres are insisting me contest Warangal bye-elections: Ravula

  TDP Polit bureau member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy plainly said that he is keen to contest in bye-elections for Warangal Loksabha constituency.   “Our party cadres are insisting me to contest in these bye-elections. Earlier, we have supported BJP in the bye-elections for Medak Loksabha constituency and also during MLC elections. So, BJP should leave Warangal seat to TDP following alliance dharma. People have lost faith in ruling TRS and in Congress party also. So, if the party gives me a chance to contest I will definitely win the bye-elections, said Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy to media.   Today, TDP and BJP leaders are holding separate meetings to chalk out their action plans to convince the other to spare the seat for their party. TDP and BJP leaders may meet today evening or tomorrow morning to finalize the common candidate’s name. They may announce their candidate name tomorrow itself.

Bajarangi Bhaijaan returns

  The dumb and duff girl Geeta, who by mistake lands in Pakistan 15 years ago, will be returning home on October 26th. Her story surfaced after Salman Khan’s latest movie ‘Bajarangi Bhaijaan’ with similar story was released world over including Pakistan few months ago. Ever since, her pictures and story has been widely published through media. Her parents and sisters recognized her as their family member. She also recognized her family members’ photo sent by the MEA officials of India to Islamabad few weeks ago.   The Eed Foundation officials, who have been taking care of her all these years, are bringing her back to India on October 26th. They will hand over to her parents after confirming their DNA reports matching with her.   Generally, many movies are made based upon real life incidents, but this Bajarangi Bhaijaan movie makes story become reality and helping a poor girl to re unite with her family members after a long painful wait of 15 years. Modi government racing with bullet speed

  Modi government appears to be racing with bullet speed in taking decisions and its implementation. Ever since, Modi takes charge as Prime Minister of India, his government is taking several decisions very quickly and clearing various projects with lightning speed.   One such ambitious project is introducing a bullet train between Ahmadabad and Mumbai. Indian Railways called for global tenders for this purpose few months ago and Japan International Corporation (JIC) wins it. Japan is ready to invest Rs.90, 000 crore on this project for less than 1 percent interest. Hence, the Indian Railways has submitted a technical feasibility report to JIC recently. Once the formalities and land acquisition works are completed, JIC may start construction works of this dream project.   The distance between Ahmadabad and Mumbai is 505 kilometers and our superfast express trains are taking around 7 hours to cover this distance. Bullet train that travels with 300-350 km/hr will make it in less than two hours only. If Modi government could make this dream project turn into reality certainly entire credit goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government only.

Pulla Rao straight question to Jagan

  YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party leaders started fierce attacks against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu after Prime Minister Narendra Modi offers nothing to the state during his speech at Amaravati yesterday.   It would be interesting to see Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is A-1 accused in 11 charge sheets in the disproportionate assets cases, is accusing Chandrababu Naidu that he is not insisting the Prime Minister for special status merely to bail himself out of the cases. He gave a call to his party cadres to start statewide protest rallies immediately.   Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao sharply reacting to his criticism shoots a straight question to Jagan Mohan Reddy. He asked why did he and his party leaders boycotted Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony where they could demand the Prime Minister to declare special status to the state. He alleges that Jagan Mohan Reddy intentionally boycotted this function merely to escape from facing this embarrassing situation. Pulla Rao suggested him to approach Prime Minister Narendra Modi and insist him to grant special status to the state, if he is honestly fighting for it.

How long AP and Telangana CM’s maintain this peace?

  People of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states had seen how it would be if their Chief Ministers quarrel with each other and how it would be when they co-operate with each other. Very small issues turn into major issues because of their rivalry. They let their enmity spread to their governments and also to the people, which everyone disliked and discouraged. There was a time when both indulged in a cut-throat fight resulting standstill situation of both governments.   But, gradually the situation start changing after Chandrababu Naidu shifts to Vijayawada and becomes busy with capital Amaravati works. Telangana CM KCR has been insisting his counterpart of AP for the same since last 16 months and when he did it then KCR also shifts attention from him to Telangana state development. This is what exactly the people of both states are expecting from them and not friction between two governments.   It is understood that this friction can be avoided only if Chandrababu Naidu let his Telangana TDP leaders decide on how to handle CM KCR and his government. Probably, KCR may not find any problem in dealing with them. But, can Chandrababu Naidu afford to leave his party to CM KCR’s mercy? Perhaps, the answer is ‘No’. If so, it is only a matter of time to restart their fight.

Prime Minister disppointed us: TDP MP Galla Jayadev

  Political parties and their leaders of Andhra Pradesh state start reacting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on special status and special package to the state. Congress, YSR Congress and Left parties are openly criticizing Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. Ruling TDP leaders are also start reacting over this matter. TDP MP Galla Jayadev openly expressed his anguish for not making any announcement on this matter by the Prime Minister in yesterday’s function.   Speaking to media at Guntur yesterday, he said “I am very much disappointed with Prime Minister’s silence over these sensitive issues. People of the state expected that he will certainly make some specific announcement during his visit to the state yesterday. But, he disappointed very much. I don’t think we can fight and achieve special status or special package while sailing together. We should have some clarity on how to achieve it, when the Centre is reluctant for it. I will discuss this matter with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Later, we will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stress our point.”   Galla Jayadev said “I think there is nothing wrong in writing Telangana CM KCR’s name on Amaravati Foundation plate. But, it is not correct to ignore the local MP, MLA and Sarpanch’s names on it. However, it is not any big issue. We can ignore such things but can’t ignore Modi’s silence on these two issues.”

Warangal Bye-elections Schedule announced

  EC announced the schedule for bye-elections of Warangal Loksabha constituency today that was necessitated with Kadiyam Sri Hari’s resignation few months ago.   Elections notification will be issued on October 28th. Last date for filing nominations: November 4th. Nominations scrutiny: November 5th. Last date for withdrawal of nominations: November 7th. Polling will be held on November 21st. Counting of votes and results announcement on November 24th. Elections code of conduct will comes into immediate effect from Wednesday.

Rajnikanth sends two buses for AP Government

  Kollywood Superstar Rajnikanth sends two AC luxury buses to Amaravati following a request from TDP MP Kesineni Nani. These buses will be used for transporting VIPs from Gannavaram airport to Amaravati venue place and back. Kesineni also arranged 10 AC Volvo busses for this purpose. Several others from within and neighboring states are sending their luxurious vehicles for this purpose. Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha thanked the AP Government for inviting her and greeted AP CM Chandrababu Naidu on this occasion. She wished this program complete successfully and speedy construction of Amaravati city.   While even neighbnoring state people are coming forward to assist the AP government, despite being  natives of Andhra Pradesh state  the main opposition party leader Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Congress leaders are boycotting this historical function of the state. YSR Congress party is not only boycotting it, but is also strongly criticizing the state government for the same for different reasons. Probably, people of the state may not forget or forgive them for what they both are doing now.

CM KCR to reach Amaravati by Chopper

  Telangana Chief Minister, KCR, Amaravati, Function, Helicopter Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who accepted AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s invitation for Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony, will reach the venue in helicopter directly from Suryapet instead of reaching in his vehicle by road. He will reach Suryapet tomorrow evening and camp there. He will start from Suryapet on 22nd morning 10.30 AM and reach the venue by chopper directly. However, some of his ministers may reach Gannavaram airport by flight. They will be airlifted to venue by choppers from there.   According to latest reports, some senior Congress leaders of Telangana state also will attend this function. They may reach Gannavaram by flight. MIM President Asasudduddeen Owaisi is promised to attend this function.   CPM leaders of Telangana state declared that they will not attend this function in protest against forcible land acquisition by the statement government. Congress leaders of the AP state are also declared that they are boycotting this state function because they are not happy with the way they are invited. Former Minister Sailajanath confirmed this a short while ago. However, PCC President Raghuveera Reddy not acknowldged his stamen yet.

BJP changes elections strategy for Bihar Elections

  BJP appears to be taking very big risk in the middle of the Bihar Assembly elections. Suddenly, it changes its strategy for facing remaining three phases of assembly elections. So far, BJP is mainly relying upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image, his influence on the people and on his campaigning. But now, it brings the local leaders to forward positions in place of Narendra Modi and assigned them the task of winning the elections on their own strengths.   BJP is scheduled to conduct around 250 meetings in 50 constituencies for elections campaigning for the third phase of elections. Only state and local leaders will conduct meetings scheduled between October 17th and 28th. Even later, BJP National President Amit Shah will conduct 9 public meetings, Home Minister Rajnath Singh will conduct 6 public meetings whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct only 4 meetings.   It gives the beleaguered Janata Parivar a new life in the elections. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav both are trying to convince the people of the state that Narendra Modi withdraws from elections campaigning as he realized BJP’s defeat is inevitable. Lalu Prasad is highlighting the point that BJP has not declared its Chief Minister candidate only because of this reason.   However, BJP president Amit Shah rubbished their arguments and asserted that BJP is going to win these elections with absolute majority. He asked Lalu Prasad whether he is afraid to face BJP state leaders. BJP deploys state president Sushil Kumar Modi, former Chief Minister of the state Jitan Ram Manjhi, Central Ministers Rajnath Singh, Ramvilas Paswan, Ravishankar Prasad, its senior leaders Rajeev Prathap Rudy, Upendra Kushwa, CP Talkur, Nanda Kishore Yadav and others for campaigning in the third phase of elections.

Janareddy throws challenge to TRS government

  Senior Telangana Congress leader K Janareddy, who is being suspected for going soft with TRS government, surprised his critics by strongly criticizing the TRS government. He throws a challenge to Chief Minister KCR.   He said “If you can complete Pranahitha–Chevella project within next two years, I will keep praising your party rest of my life acknowledging its great abilities. But, even the Centre take up that project, it can’t be completed within two years. Then how can the TRS government complete it? Chief Minister KCR and his ministers are bluffing the people making tall promises about that project. People will teach them a good lesson in the next elections for it.”   Spitting fire at IT and Panchayati Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, “He may be thinking that he can attract the peoples’ attention and becomes hero, if criticizes senior leaders like me. But, he should realize that he will become zero for doing so. His rude comments made against me and our senior leaders are disclosing his headstrong mentality. He was not even able to efficiently run the Mandal system introduced by me. First, he should learn how to speak and behave in politics before dreaming big, “said K Janareddy.

Venkaiah Naidu suggestion to AP CM?

  Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu gives a very good advice to people of AP today. In fact, it is intended for AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who often says that he build Amaravati better than Hyderabad. Venkaiah Naidu asked the people of the state not to compare Amaravati with Hyderabad or the Gannavaram airport with Shamshabad airport. He said it is not advisable to make such comparison. Instead, people should try to develop their states.   After laying foundation stone for new terminal building at Gannavaram airport today, speaking to the media he appreciated Chandrababu Naidu for inviting Telangana Chief Minister KCR to Amaravati Foundation stone laying ceremony.   He said, “Although AP and Telangana states were geographically divided, Telugu people will remain as one forever. Hence, both Chief Ministers should work together and develop both states. Central government is there to assist both states. It is not lenient towards any state. Centre is extending its full support to the AP state because it was committed in AP reorganization Act and also keeping in view of miserable situation of it due to partition.”   He said “Fortunately, we have a very nice Prime Minister and Chief Ministers at Centre and state levels. All of they are striving hard to develop the country with their sincere efforts. Centre has granted several institutions and projects to the AP state and many more projects are in tube. Even late NTR’s native village Nimmakuru will also get a huge project very soon.”   Referring to opposition parties’ dharnas and allegations, “It is very unfortunate to see some politicians and political parties in the AP state are trying to throw wrench in the development activities and making allegations to misguide the people. People will definitely teach them a good lesson, when time comes. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is very efficient and capable person. I am very much pleased to hear that industrialists are happy to come to AP state as they are very sure about Chandrababu Naidu’s efficient administration. I am sure that AP state will stand up on its feet before 2018,” said m Venkaiah Naidu.

When people outsmarts Railways...

  Often governments try to outsmart the people while hiking prices of any products or services, but very rarely people get the chance to outsmart the governments. People of Hyderabad are giving a shock to Railways officials who plans to squeeze money from them.   Secunderabad Railway officials have made an experiment, but it backfires at them very badly. They increased the platform tickets from Rs. 10 to 20 for a temporary period of one week between October 17th to 26th in an attempt to encash huge rush for Dushera festival. However, they have limited this hike to Secunderabad station only.   Naturally, people are very much irked with this steep hike which can’t be justified at all. So, they have found an alternative idea to outsmart the greedy railway officials. People coming to give send off to their near and dear are now purchasing MMTS train tickets instead of platform tickets, because the minimum ticket is just Rs. 5 only.   Railway ticket collectors can’t object or stop them as they are carrying valid MMTS tickets. Railway is losing huge income whereas it expects to pocket additional income during this peak session. Railways officials expect the people to buy platform tickets at a cost of Rs.20 but they are not even spending Rs. 10 for platform tickets. They finish their work with just Rs. 5 only. Actually, Railways officials’ plans to limit the free wi-fi usage in the station with this idea, but it also backfire at them.

Kallu Chidambaram is no more

  Noted stage artist and Tollywood ace comedian Kallu Chidambaram (70) passed away on Monday morning. He was ailing with lung related diseases since last few years and was taking treatment in a private hospital at Vishakhapatnam. Once, he worked in Vizag Port, but he left his job as he developed interest in stage shows (dramas).   He served it for nearly 12 years before entering into film industry in 1989 with film ‘Kallu’ which earns him prestigious Nandi Award. He did more than two dozen movies mainly in comedian roles. He acted in Money, Govinda Govinda, Ammoru, Mrugaraju, Shivangi, Tolipata etc movies during his one and half decades of association with Telugu Film Industry.   He becomes very famous as Kallu Chidambaram. But, his real name is Kollooru Chidambaram. He is a native of Visakhapatnam. His financial condition is reported to be not that good even after doing so many films because he was used to donate money to poor stage artists. His funerals may be performed at Visakhapatnam on Monday. Tollywood express grief for his death. His death would be a great loss to us, says ‘Sakala Kala Samakya’ floated by him for helping needy stage artists in the state.

Pawan Kalyan meets Chiranjeevi

  Power star Pawan Kalyan meets his elder brother Mega star Chiranjeevi at his home in Hyderabad on Sunday. Pawan Kalyan straightaway went to his brother’s house from his Sardar Gabbar Singh sets in the Inspector get-up. He greets his brother Chiranjeevi for completing his 150th movie Bruce Lee in which he played guest role. They both exchanged flower bouquets when they meet. Ram Charan Tej was also present when Pawan Kalyan reached Chiranjeevi’s home. Later, all of they had chitchat for a while and Pawan Kalyan returns to his home.   While returning, Pawan Kalyan speaking to media said “Although we both politically differ, still we are bonded as family members and one film industry members. I have great respect for my brother and love him very much, though we have different political views. I am glad to see him return to film industry after a very long time. I and Ram Charan Tej are trying to act together. We have gone through two or three stories till now. We may act together if we find a suitable story for our film,” said Pawan Kalyan.

Is Jagan having second thoughts on his decision?

  YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy, in his open letter written to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu yesterday, plainly said that he doesn’t want to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati. So he asked the government not to invite him and even if invited he will not attend it.   He sticks to his word until Chandrababu Naidu seeks Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s appointment for personally inviting him to grace the function. It seems he is having second thoughts about his decision to boycott the state function. So, he lets one of his senior leaders Umma Reddy Venkateswarulu to react on Chandrababu seeking KCR’s appointment today.   Ummareddy Venkateswarulu said “The way Chandrababu Naidu sought Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s appointment he can seek Jagan Mohan Reddy’s appointment also. The way he is personally inviting Chief Minister KCR, similarly he can invite our party president Jagan Mohan Reddy also. Even if he attends the function, will they allow him to sit beside Prime Minister Narendra Modi? Being a political party, we have our own reservations.”   After all, what message Jagan wants to send with this Ummareddy statement? Did he realize that boycotting a state function is a terrible mistake and so he wants to attend it if invited? But, why should a Chief Minister should seek his appointment and personally invite him when he rudely declared that he doesn’t want to attend the function?   Why should Chief Minister come to his home and invite him, when he insulted two ministers by refusing to meet them when they come to invite him personally? What makes him believe that he needs to be equally treated or honored with Chief Minister KCR and Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he doesn’t think the two ministers are not worth receiving at his home?   All political leaders of Congress, TRS, BJP of Telangana state are welcoming the AP Ministers and accepting the invitations given on behalf of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. But, Jagan Mohan Reddy alone is boycotting this function and very rudely stated the same despite being a native of Andhra Pradesh state and the main opposition party leader with cabinet rank.   However, if YSR Congress party changes its minds and want to attend the function now they may really become a laughing stock in state politics. Hence, it is worth sticking to his decision so that they will have an option to continue their criticism as ever before.

Chiru should do straight Telugu Film: Varma

  Director Ram Gopal Varma now aims his guns at Chiranjeevi after criticizing his son Ram Charan Tej for his movie Bruce Lee that was released yesterday. However he argues that "“Unlike some people thinking I am actually biggest fan of Mega Star and my tweets are in support of him which some dumbs r not understanding.”   He posted a photo of Ram Charan Tej with Pawan Kalyan and tweets: “A combination of these two will be the Bahubali of Bahubalis.”   His tweets about Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s 151 movie:   “For Mega star to do Bruce Lee as 150th is as big a Mega wrong decision as Praja Rajyam party but am sure 151st will be Enter the Dragon.”   “Whether he is in 1 scene or one sequence I saw him for the 150th time on screen nd so this is the 150th for me...anyways what's in a number?”   “And I hope rumours are wrong and Telugu Mega Star for 151st will not do copy of Tamil film and be as mega original as Rajmouli in Bahubali.”   “As a Mega fan, My sincere request to Mega Star is to do a Mega original film better than Bahubali as Mega 151st and not copy a Tamil film.”   “My sincere request to all Mega fans is to sincerely request Mega to be original and uplift Telugu pride and not copy from Tamil for his 151st.”   “Mega in his Telugu leader status to copy a Tamil film is back stab for Telugu Pride...So I hope that he's doing a Tamil copy film is rumour.”   “No matter how big Rajmouli is, Mega is bigger and Telugus will be hurt if Mega imports Tamil pride while Rajmouli is exporting Telugu pride.”   “Congrats on 100 days to Bahubali Rajmouli Real Bruce Lee of Cinema...Rajmouli sir pls tweet ur feet for all us wannabe Bruce Lee's to touch.”

  AP Ministers Ayyanna Patrudu, Dr. Kamineni Srinivas and few others went to Congress MP Chiranjeevi’s house today evening and invited him to Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony on behalf of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Chiranjeevi thanked them and Chandrababu Naidu for inviting him to the function. He said that he will definitely try to attend the function. He greeted Chandrababu Naidu on this occasion. The ministers also met senior Telangana Congress leader K Jana Reddy and invited him to the function on behalf of AP Chief Minister. He is all praise to Chandrababu Naidu for his efforts to construct Amaravati. He also promised to attend the function.
