Ramoji rao mediates for TDP
Media baron Ramoji rao, who always stood by TDP from the day one or even before its launching is disturbed to see the in-fights of the TDP, which he believes are weakening the strong foundations of the party.
Especially, the rift between Chandrababu Naidu and Harikrishna over sharing power in the party, creates fissure in Nandamuri clan. While, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Lokesh are standing by Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Harikrishna and his son Jr.NTR were found standing on the other side. Harikrishna, who is unhappy for sidelining him and his son in the party, has been opposing Chandrababu’s idea to project his son Lokesh as future president of the party. Hence, both father and son stay away from party activities along with their followers.
While, the in-fight continues, powerful leaders like Kodali Nani, who is a die-hard- fan of Nandamuri family and others like Praveen from Tamballapalli, recently left the party for failing to co-op with the in-fights. Several others from the party are also looking toward YSR Congress party with the same reasons.
Besides, the latest controversy about the three TDP MPs absconding from FDI Bill voting also stirs up the in-fights between party senior leaders. More over, there is Telangana factor that splits the party into two.
While, Chandrababu is taking pains to revamp the party with his pada-yatra, on the other side the party condition seems to be deteriorating day by day with their in-fights. Hence, some one has to take initiative to bring all the warring groups on to a platform and force them to set aside their ego problems to save the party from falling apart.
So, Ramoji rao, who is known as well wisher of Nandamuri family and TDP, takes initiative. First he talked to Chandrababu about the issues and took his permission to mediate between the warring groups of his party. It is learnt that recently, he begins this critical process of talking with Nandamuri Harikrishna and Balakrishna. He made them realize what could happen to party if they continue their fight any further. He also said to be given assurance to Harikrishna that if the party comes to power he will be made either Deputy CM of the state or be given an important portfolio in Chandrababu’s cabinet on behalf of Chandrababu.
After convincing Nandamuri brothers, then he called upon Jr.NTR, who came to his Sitara Hotel in RFC for story discussions of his upcoming film. After explaining about the alarming party situation of the party to him, Ramoji asked Jr.NTR to work together with Lokesh and Chandrababu, if he wants to see the party afloat. It is learnt that Jr.NTR has rubbished all his fears and assured him to work together with Lokesh and to strengthen the party.
Finally, Ramoji rao brings all of them on to a common platform at his Ramoji Film City recently and told them that unless the party survives neither of them or anyone of Nandamuri clan can expect fruits of the party. Hence, he asked them to realize the alarming situation of the party and to co-op with party president Chandrababu in all aspects including supporting his pada-yatra. According to sources, all of they have promised to abide by Ramoji rao’s suggestions and to put-up teamwork to revamp the party. If, the sources are to be believe we will notice that Nandamuri clan walking along with TDP president Chandrababu Naidu very soon.
