TDP-BJP alliance leads to havoc in T-BJP

  It appears BJP leaders of Telangana are not all convinced to have poll alliance with TDP, even while their high command is said to be come to consensus on important seats sharing during the final round of the negotiations being held between top leaders of both parties at Hyderabad today.   Eight districts presidents of BJP in Telangana have submitted their resignation letters to Kishan Reddy in protest against alliance. They are fuming on TDP for treating their party as if a beggar. TDP is offering just 8 MP seats and 45 Assembly seats to BJP in Telangana and not willing to give a single seat in addition.   Seemandhra BJP leaders are also not happy with alliance as TDP is offering 5 MP and 15 Assembly seats only to BJP. Some BJP workers are staging dharna at the hotel, where both party top leaders are negating on seat sharing. So, though both parties enters into poll alliance, it appears that co-operation between leaders of both parties is blink. In such case, the alliance is of no use and it may give advantage to their rival parties.

Dr Jayaprakash Narayan for Malkajgiri MP seat

      Dr Jayaprakash Narayan, Chief of the Lok Satta Party will be filing his nomination papers on Monday 7th April for the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Constituency. No New Railway Zone for AP or T

      As part of the bifurcation process the Union Ministry has very clearly stated that it will not possible to establish a new Railway Zone either in Telanagana or Seemandhra and that it is not needed to set up a rail coach factory in Telangana either.   In the 13th schedule of the AP Reorganisation Act it was proposed that the Centre will examine the idea of a new railway zone in rest of Andhra Pradesh and the feasibility of a rail coach factory in Telangana. But both of these were rejected by the railway ministry, that a rail coach factory in Telangana is "not needed as the existing capacity and planned capacity is sufficient to meet future needs". And with regards to the new railway zone proposal was not justified due to financial, geographical viabilities and other reasons." This proposal had lot of expectations as this would boost the transport facilities in both States which has been regarded as major let down by the Center with regards to the development of the States.  

Priyanka’s mention creates havoc in Congress

  Senior Congress leader Janardhan Dwivedi’s untimely statement about former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi’s special appreciation for his daughter Priyanka’s political grasping powers and interests has creates havoc among Congress circles.   His statement just ahead of elections that are considered to be a testimony for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership qualities and influence on the party and the people, made the Congress men angry on Dwivedi. They believe that projecting Priyanka Wadra as much better candidate than Rahul Gandhi at this crucial moment may damage poll prospects of the party and damaging to Rahul Gandhi’s reputation. They argue that it is sending a wrong signal to people and providing a weapon to opposition parties. Hence, Congress high command presses the panic button immediately.   Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, who is assigned to this damage control task, said “Priyanka Wadra is the ‘pillar of strength’ behind the party president Sonia Gandhi and the vice-president Rahul Gandhi. She will campaign for her mother and brother in Rae Bareli and Amethi constituencies and would like to extend all possible help to them just as a family member and nothing else.”   So, there is no one questioning about Rahul Gandhi’s political abilities or no plans to replace him with his own sister Priyanka Wadra. So, all Congress men including Rahul Gandhi can have a sigh of relief.

Death for 3 in 2nd Shakti Mills Rape Case

      Its death for the three repeat offenders Kasim Bengali, Vijay Jadhav and Mohammed Salim Ansari in the Shakti Mills gang-rape case of the photo journalist , which has been awarded sessions court in Mumbai. Awarding death penalty to the three, the court said, "Mumbai gang-rape accused have least respect for law. They don't have potential for reformation as per facts of case. The suffering that gang-rape survivor and her family has undergone is unparalleled," the court said.   Citing the "Exemplary and rarest of rare punishment is required in the case," the judge said, adding, crime violates all rights of survivor. Kasim Bengali, Vijay Jadhav and Mohammed Salim Ansari are the common accused who are also convicted and awarded Life sentence  on March 21st 2014 in the telephone operator gang-rape case on the same premises of Shakti Mills in July last year just  a month before the photojournalist was brutalised on August 22. The 22-year-old photo journalist of a magazine was gang raped by Vijay Jadhav, Kasim Bengali, Salim Ansari, Siraj Rehman and a minor boy when she had gone to the Shakti Mills compound in the Central Mumbai with a male colleague on an assignment. The fifth accused, a minor in the telephone operator gang rape case, is being tried by the Juvenile Justice Board.  

Its official poll-related seized cash is 83 Crore

      AP Chief electoral officer Bhanwar Lal today has declared that there has been a seizure of Rupees 83 Crore in cash, which has not been claimed and remains unaccounted for as part of the checking done throughout Andhra Pradesh. As part of the run-up to the general elections and with the enforcement of the Election Code of Conduct the Police have been conducting extensive searches at all check posts and borders in AP.   Apart from cash, Gold, Silver, Gas cylinders, sarees, TV sets, fake ornaments, cheap liquor and in certain places where cricket gear with the names and photos of the probable contestants were also seized With over one lakh policemen on duty, aided by over 450 companies of paramilitary forces, all border districts have been sealed and highways are being patrolled for ensuring that the elections are conducted peacefully.

      Actress Samantha has joined the list of celebrities to pledge support to the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. The leading lady when asked whether she would be voting declared that she would be voting from Pallavaram which is a second-grade municipality located in the suburbs of Chennai. She believed that Narendra Modi is the only leader who can take the country forward when it comes to the economic and social interests of the country. Now we wonder whom she will vote for when it comes to her own land of Tamil Nadu where the BJP is leading the National Democratic Alliance with DMDK , PMK and the  MDMK,  which has  a very weak presence and her own Pallavaram constituency is an AIADMK Jayalalitha’s strong hold and she is showing her fondness to the BJP chief Modi.

PSLV-C24 launched successfully from Sriharikota

      The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C24 from Sriharikota at 5.15 p.m. into the space orbit today.   This  will be the 25th consecutive successful launch of a PSLV, from the labs of  ISRO.This launch vehicle is the PSLV’s XL version, armed with a powerful strap-on booster motors than in the standard PSLV, which will put the 1,432-kg IRNSS-1B into its orbit. The IRNSS-1B is India’s second dedicated navigation satellite which is capable of detecting external enemy movements and ship movements in the seas. The first, IRNSS-1A, was put into orbit on July 1 last year. All the seven satellites, which form the IRNSS, will be in orbit by 2016 as per Mr. M.Y.S. Prasad, Director, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, today. Another proud moment for India.  

Sivaramakrishnan Committee to decide Andhra Capital

      As per an order issued by the Joint Secretary in the Home Ministry S Suresh Kumar ,the Indian Government has set up a five-member expert committee, headed by former Union Urban Development Secretary K Sivaramakrishnan who will recommend a site for the capital of Rest of Andhra state. The residuary state will have to build a new capital within 10 years as both the states will have Hyderabad as the joint capital. The Secretariat is already being divided and the employees are being bifurcated as per region.   The other members of the Committee include Rathin Roy, Director, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, Aromar Revi, Director, Indian Institute for Human Settlements, Bengaluru, Jagan Shah, Director National Institute of Urban Affairs, New Delhi and K T Ravindran, former Dean, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Along with this a 5 member committee headed by former Central vigilance Commissioner (CVC) Pratyush Sinha will look into the division of the IAS , IPS and IFoS civil servants.

No Sahara for Subrata or his Staff

      Sahara India chief Subrata Roy’s will continue to stay in Tihar prison as the Company is unable to cough up the Bail amount of 10, 000 crores as per the Supreme Court Direction . The direction to deposit `10,000 crore for his release was only an effort to enforce compliance of its order to refund `20,000 crore to investors and not a bail bond. This resulted in the Sahara employees trying to gather funds by appealing to one another to gather money to bail their Chief out who has been languishing in jail since March 4th .This wasn’t quite successful and the latest news is that the 1.13 million Sahara employees salaries for the Month of March will be delayed due to the freezing of the bank accounts and assets of the company.   Known for his flamboyant parties and event which he hosted regularly for film actors like Sharukh Khan and the influential honchos in the political field has been left stranded alone with no one coming forward to his help.Look like nobody wants to touch him with   a barge pole and the 65 year old Sahara chief might encounter another rough patch with regards to his company’s stability.  

Congress Titanic rams into Titanium scam

  The beleaguered Congress party and YCP, the front runner in general elections in Andhra Pradesh state have badly struck with untimely revelation of Titanium mining scam. Although, the main accused KVP Ramachandra rao has simply washes his hands by throwing the ball into US Court, the reports about this huge scam is adverse effecting on both parties.   None of the leaders of both these parties could defend their leaders as US court specifically mentioned KVP’s name, who even now describes himself soul of late YS Rajashekar Reddy, thus leaving Jagan Mohan Reddy very much annoyed.   However, the US court and investing agencies has to reveal the names of those political leaders, state and central government officials, who have accepted bribes. If it is also disclosed, probably it would be the last nail on Congress coffin because it would play spoilsport for these two parties’ electoral chances.   TDP, which is strengthened a lot with many congress stalwarts joining it, may overpower YCP in elections, thanks to US court and investing agencies.   This incident reveals how even a foreign government or agency can influence our election process without directly involving into it. Probably, any further reports about this multi-million scam may come as a blessing for anti-congress parties in the country.

SC issue stay on Municipal verdict

  Supreme Court responding to the petitions filed challenging the HC verdict on allowing Election Commission to announce Municipal elections verdict on April 9th, issues stay order and adjourned the case to April 7th. Hence there may be some delay in announcing the results of Municipal elections. Obviously, all political parties had a sigh of relief with apex court’s stay order. However, if Supreme Court also agrees with elections commission’s arguments and allows it to declare the results on April 9th, those who fails to bag maximum municipalities would be in fix and as it may leave unseen pressures.

People want me become CM: KCR

  Finally, KCR has spelled his mind about his secret ambition to become Chief Minister of Telangana.   Speaking to media he said, “People of Telangana want me become Chief Minister of Telangana, because they have confidence in me than any other political leaders. After all, how is Ponnala or someone is eligible for that post than me? Actually, people can’t afford to put Telangana in such people’s hands. It deserves a very careful handling during its initial stage. If someone else got into that Chair, who have no idea about requirements of a new born state and is not honest, certainly the state and the people will have to suffer. I want to build a Bangari Telangana with my own hands.”   So, earlier his party men used to demand him to become CM, but now people are also demanding him, which he can’t refuse. So, it is understood that there is no more bush beating about his interest to become CM and no more Dalit issues. He and his family members may take charge of the state occupying all important portfolios in the cabinet. Probably, that is what prevented him from merging his party with Congress and reluctant to have alliance with it.

Congress Lok Sabha Candidates names announced

  As the last date for filing nominations is nearing today Congress party has cleared the names of 11 candidates for Lok Sabha from Seemandhra. They are Vizianagaram: Botsa Jhansi; Srikakulam: Killi Kruparani; Kakinada: Pallam Raju; Narasapuram: Kanumuri Bapiraju; Bapatla: Panabaka Lakshmi; Tirupati: Chinta Mohan; Karnool: Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy, Aruku: Kishore Chandra Deo; Anakapalli: Vijaya Lakshmi; Vijayawada: Deveneni Avinash.   Despite facing severe criticism, Botsa has managed to get ticket for his wife Botsa Jhansi to contest from his home town Vizianagaram. Since, Congress is unable to find winning horse from there it has to rely upon Botsa family only. He secured tickets for himself and his wife. Besides, he also managed to get tickets for his brother Appala Narasiah from Gajapathinaragam and for his nephew Boddukonda Appala Naidu for the Nellimarla seat. So, this time also Botsa may get ticket for self and some of his family members also. He may manage to get tickets for all his family members, but can he convince the people of Vizianagaram, who are fuming on them, to vote for his family members?

Digvijay in damage control mode

  MP Harsha Kumar has told the media that Congress party state political-in-charge Digvijay Singh has called upon him appealing return to party. He also positively responded to his appeal. However, he immediately announced that he will be contesting from Amalapuram on JSP ticket. His first statement clearly hinting that it is only a matter of time to return to Congress party.   This development is also hinting that Digvijay Singh may be contacting the other expelled MPs also with same request. But if seen overall, it appears this is also part of Congress game plan in bifurcation. First it expels its loyal MPs to give them credit for fighting against T-Bill. Next it let Kiran leave the party and launch his own one. But, its idea to win the negative vote through his JSP failed. So, now Congress high command is asking its loyal MPs to return home because the bifurcation dust was settled and people are absorbed into elections mood. So, sooner or later all these expelled Congress MPs may return to party. Kiran Kumar Reddy may wait until elections are over. Once they are over, he also may return to Congress party.

Vijaya Shanti changes game plan

  Medak MP Vijaya Shanthi, who has been insisting to retain her seat has suddenly, changed her game plan after sensing trouble from her former brother K.Chandrashekar rao. She joins Congress party with a pre-condition of allotting Medak MP Seat to her only. However, after knowing that KCR is also planning to contest from there only for Lok Sabha, she understood that it is highly impossible for her to defeat him.   However, since she has grip on that particular constituency she is now asking for ticket to contest for Assembly seat. She believes that it is better to avert a collision with mighty KCR and his TRS party, while at the same time keeping her options open for contesting from her own constituency.   If, Congress and TRS form alliance, then she can demand for MP seat again, otherwise has to settle for MLA seat. However, she has no regrets to contest for Assembly seat, because she also gets a chance to take part in re-construction of the new state.

Sonia Gandhi's Poverty

      Sonia Gandhi aka Antonia manio files her nomination in Raibareli she has declared her assets over 9.28 cr in which movable assets worth 2.18 crs and immoveable worth 6.47 cr . and she even gave a loan of 9 lakhs to Rahul Gandhi, don’t ask us the interest rate. she must be lucky to have rich son-in-law like Robert Vadra . some people are saying that Kapil Sibal should be her tax consultant so he applied his theory of Zero Income, Zero tax and Zero assets and some people saying Sonia misunderstood assert declaration to be the amount of cash in her handbag at that moment. Anyway we don’t want to blame Sonia Gandhi we know that she actually wanted to disclose her assets but there was no enough space on IT returns to write zeros. Lesson of the day : Learn from the leaders, don’t own the deprecating assets. Use other peoples deprecating assets and make best use of it in your given capacity.. Congress Managers worried with Robo effect

  Chandrababu will never forget to describe Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh as a Robo that is remotely controlled by Sonia Gandhi. Even yesterday, at his Praja Garjana meeting held at Warangal, he mentioned the same and said Rajnikanth’s Robo is much effective than this live Robot Dr.Manmohan Singh. He sharply criticized him for ineffective and voiceless in the government.   Now, Rahul Gandhi’s back room managers are also thinking alike not because Chandrababu has criticized him but for the mighty impact that Narendra Modi is making on the public with his speeches during election campaigning.   Congress managers are worried with their own robotic Prime Minister, who do nothing but prefers simply follow the instructions given by his high command. Though, he announced that he will not continue in his chair after the elections, his lack of interest in projecting himself as able administrator, his ineffective speeches in campaigning are is very badly effecting the party in the context of Narendra Modi’s effective and powerful speeches.   Congress high command, despite prepared to install Rahul Gandhi in his chair if won the elections, it is not courageous to announce him as its PM candidate because it don’t want to happen any damage to his image if got defeated. So, with Rahul unable to openly claim himself as PM candidate of the party and the Prime Minister not willing to project himself, Congress is troubling to sell itself to people.   Therefore, Congress managers are very much worried and putting their heads together to find some idea to counter Modi on this point. Perhaps, the only thing they can find is just dig at his past and if found something interesting usher their CBI parrots against him, otherwise provide enough points to Rahul- the PM in waiting to sling mud against Modi and his BJP.
