Rapes on rise due to increasing Muslims- MP

We are aware that some of our lawmakers are violent in their thoughts. But we expect them to keep silent at least for the sake of politeness. But some of them don’t seem to care of what the rest of the nation thinks about them. Sample this! Hari Om Pandey. a MP from Ambedkarnagar of UP has shared his valuable knowledge about muslims with the nation. Speaking to the reporters Pandey has sighted the reason of increasing Muslim population for increasing rapes and murders in the country. Further he feared that the muslim population would start demanding a new nation like Pakistan for them. "Muslims marry 3-4 times & have 9-10 kids, they don't get any education & end up unemployed. It will obviously lead to anarchy,’ said Mr. Pandey.

    Truckers call off the strike

The trucker’s strike that has slowed down the nation was finally called off. The eight day long strike was called off after the dialogues between the government and the truck unions. The unions have gone on strike with various demands such as reduction of GST on diesel and removal of toll barriers. The government has immediately accepted some of the demands and was ready to set up a high level committee to discuss on the rest of the issues. However the eight day long strike has caused havoc among the industries which heavily depended on the transport. Manufacturing units such as pharmaceuticals and textile has incurred heavy losses due to strike. There were even reports that truckers are planning to halt even the emergency services such as milk and petrol. However the call off of the strike has come as a relief to the common man.

Imran Khan – A new threat to India?

Lady luck seems to have given a cute smile to Imran Khan placing him as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. However analysts feel that his approach towards India might not be smooth. Imran Khan used to portray himself as a liberal personality. But many suspect that now he is changed into a hardcore politician who is sympathetic towards religious fanatics and Pakistan army. Some even believe that it was the Pakistan army which helped Imran to win the present nation. If this is true, Imran has to play along the lines of army on the issue of Kashmir. "He is the Army's man. He is expected to do what the Pakistani Army tells him to do," said former Indian high commissioner to Pakistan, G Parthasarathy. So let’s beware. Like his bowling, Imran could even REVERSE SWING his politics too!

Vijay Mallya is coming back to India

At last you could see Liquor Baron Vijay Mallya in India. Sources from the Enforcement Directorate reveal that Vijay Mallya is planning to return back. He seems to have taken this decision after a series of setback in the London court regarding his extradition. In what seems to be a surprising victory for the Indian authorities, the London court has already declared Mallya as a fugitive escaping from law. On August 27, a special court in Mumbai would also be hearing a case against Vijay Mallya to decide whether he can be tagged a “fugitive economic offender” under the new law passed by Parliament recently. If Mallya loses his case the Enforcement Directorate would be able to seize his properties worth more than 12 thousand crores.

    Facebook prevents suicide

There have been several instances that prove social media to be harmful. But there seems to be some exceptions too! Both Facebook and Whatsapp have stepped the safety measures after facing severe criticism for their indifference. Here is an example for that. A girl from Assam was so frustrated with her life that she has decided to commit suicide. She has even expressed her wish on her facebook wall. This post has attracted the attention of Facebook headquarters in US who has alerted the state police. The girl was tracked down by the local police. She and her family have been counselled and the girl has been advised to remove the post. However this is not new for the facebook to alert the police in such situations. The police has saved the life of a minor in Guwahati this January following the caution sent by the Facebook.

Millions of data to china through Paytm !

Narendra Jadhav a member of Rajya Sabha has yesterday made a volatile allegation against the Paytm. Raising the issue in the Zero Hour of the parliament, Mr. Jadhav has called for imposing restrictions on the ownership of Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) in India. Jadhav alleged that Alibaba a Chinese company has acquired a huge stake in Paytm which is in the process of getting NBFC license. This according to Jadhav would give huge opportunity for the companies like Alibaba to gather the financial information of India and provide them to the Chinese authorities. `` Through Paytm, Chinese authorities can gain access to personal and financial data of millions of Indians and corporations. This means they can influence Indian financial sector. The Chinese have an incredible amount of capital. They can dump their capital in our markets and indulge in predatory pricing,’’ said Jadhav speaking to a newspaper.

The incident has happened in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh.

Three kids die of starvation in Delhi

Starving to death is something you can’t imagine in the modern world... and particularly in India where the governments boast about social welfare schemes. But in a mocking of Indian democracy, three children are found dead due to starvation. Mansi (8), Shikha (4) and Parul (2) were three children of a rickshaw puller. Their mother is mentally instable and father has been missing from a week. The owner of their house has one day found them in a fainted condition. When taken to the hospital, all the three kids were pronounced to be dead. The initial autopsy report has indicated severe malnutrition and lack of food as primary reason for their death. The tragedy took a political turn as both Congress and BJP began blaming the AAP government responsible to the incident.

    Trucks strike affecting the nation

The strike called by truckers association has reached its seventh day by now. As the central government has been indifferent to the demands of the association, the strike doesn’t seem to end in near future. Truckers have been demanding the reduction of GST on diesel which is not an easy task for the government. The strike has already affected the prices of groceries. Several industries such as textile, ceramic and pharmaceuticals have been severely affected by the strike. Now here is one more bad news. The trucks association might be halting the transport of essential goods such as petrol and milk which would be a nightmare to the nation. But so far, there isn’t any signal from the central government to resolve the issue.

    Sex Scandal in Gujarat BJP

In what is said to be major embarrassment to Modi and Amit Shah, the Gujarat cadre of BJP was stuck in a huge sex scandal. A 21 year old woman from Surat has made a complaint against BJP leader Jayanti Bhanushali. She accused him of subjecting her to sexual harassment and rape. And that’s not the end of the. Another BJP leader, Chhabil Patel has come out in support of the victim. “Everybody in Kutch knows about Bhanushali, who is a blackmailer and land grabber. He has trapped many people including several leaders in honey trap at his farm house in Kutch. She is not the only girl. There are dozens of his victims and gradually they all will come forward,’’ said Mr. Patel speaking to a newspaper. However the BJP state unit fears that this scandal is going to be a blot on the party’s image in upcoming elections.

    Amitabh’s Advertisement withdrawn

The advertisement of Amitabh Bachchan representing Kalyan Jewellers was withdrawn. The ad portrays Amitabh as a sincere pensioner who gives a piece of advice of honesty to a banker. However this has rubbed some salt on the bankers association which is already under the pressure of scams and demonetisation.  The association has termed the ad as `disgusting’ and threatened to sue the firm. Sensing a controversy, Kalyan Jewellers has withdrawn the ad. It has even issued a statement to clarify its stand- "We sincerely regret the inadvertent hurt caused and withdraw the advertisement from all media with immediate effect. We understand that the advertisement has hurt sentiments of some people including members of our esteemed banking community. Any such hurtful interpretation being drawn is unintended. We state that the creative advertisement was a work of fiction and not a reflection of banking employees at large. Along with crores of Indians, we acknowledge the valuable contribution of the banking community to our country."

Zero GST on Sanitary napkins won’t help

The government has at last declared that there would be no GST levied on sanitary napkins. The government’s decision has come after huge protests from various sections of the society who term the taxation as a harsh step on women. However, the reality seems to be bit different. Experts say that the decrease of GST would not at all pave way to the reduction of Sanitary napkins price. Further it might even hike the prices. Here is the simple logic. Previously, if a manufacture sold the napkins for 100 rupees, a 12 rupees GST used to add up the MRP. Half of the GST (six rupees) will be paid back to the manufacturer. Now the manufacturer has to sell the napkins only for 100 rupees meaning that he won’t be receiving the extra six rupees as earlier. This would certainly be a loss to the manufacturers! Further it’s feared to increase the napkins from China!
