On Friday, Kapil Sharma, actor as well as comedian, tagged Narendra Modi on twitter and posted that, he was paying 15 Cr income tax from last five years and he still had to pay 5 Lac bribe to BMC office for making his office. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation responded to the tweet and claimed that, a stop work notice was issued to Kapil Sharma for his ground the unauthorized horizontal extension to the existing ground and one storied structure. On 4th of August, as they didn’t receive any reply from the actor, the same had been demolished, added BMC. Manohar Pawar, the BMC chief engineer-vigilance said that, the actor would need to provide them with additional details on the matter, he must have had made the allegations with some base hence they need him to provide them with all the evidence he might have had and the name of the official and depending upon the same the action would be initiated.
