Some unidentified persons have attacked comedian Venu at Film Nagar on Sunday. He was injured in the attack. His friends immediately rushed him to Apollo hospital for treatment. Police have arrested a person from the spot.

 

The Gouda community is fuming upon him for insulting them and their job in a comedy skit played by him for ‘Jabardasth Comedy show’ in a popular TV channel on Thursday. The leaders of the community have lodged a police complaint against him and the organizers of the show two days ago. They said that he played similar comedy skit in the last year also and warned for it. Doctors attending the actor said that he is fine and will be discharged soon.
