Spinach Dal

A lavish wedding menu is incomplete without this dish - yes you guessed it right! We are -- Loaded with proteins this is an excellent dish.
Ingredients:
Kandi Pappu or Red Gram
Palakura or Spinach
Popu Dinusulu or Tempering Seeds
Uppu or Salt
Pasupu or Turmeric Powder
Karam or Chilli Powder
Pachi Mirchi or Green Chillies
Neyyi or Ghee
Hinguva or Asafoetida
Chintapandu Gujju or Tamarind Pulp
Procedure:
Firstly chop spinach leaves and boil them. And separately boil the red gram and keep aside. In another pan add 2 spoons of ghee and add tempering seeds. After they splatter add the boiled spinach and boiled red gram.
While they blend add the tamarind pulp, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and let it boil. Finally take it in the bowl and is ready to be served.
