The New Electronic Credit Card

A new groundbreaking technology has emerged. The latest technology that is creating a great buzz is 'Coin'. A  card that combines all your different credit, debit, gift,  membership and personal cards into one. It works just like a regular credit card, but it allows you to cycle through your stored cards and select one via a small display. This electronic credit card comes with a small card reader that attaches to the bottom of your smart phone. Using the Coin app for iOS or Android, you can swipe each card in your possession and then take a picture of the information on the front. The card is then stored on the app using 128-bit encryption and synced with your Coin using a Bluetooth connection. Adding your cars is a one-time deal, after which you’re free to use Coin without the app or your smartphone . To make sure your card stays safe, the app will alert you if you forget Coin behind. Google Glass Mark 2

In a Google+ posting, the company says that current Google Glass wearers known as 'Explorers' will be able to trade in their existing headsets for a new model and that they will each also be entitled to invite three friends to join the program.   The next version of Google Glass will be compatible with prescription lenses for those people that have no choice but to wear glasses and it will also be doing away with the bone conduction speaker system in the current model, which many users have claimed is rather less than good. However, it is being replaced by a single ear bud, which means one-ear mono sound great for making a phone call but not for listening to music.

Shoes That Show You Way

Hey! Have you ever dreamt of shoes that shows your way to home? Doesn't matter though if u don't. Because in real we already have them. Don't you believe? Check it here. A pair of shoes that can navigate you to anywhere you wish to travel to.  You need to do is you  have to  upload your required destination to the shoes via a piece of custom made mapping software and a USB cable, the GPS, which is embedded in the heel, is activated by a heel click. It then communicates to the wearer via a ring of LED lights to point in the required direction. The shoe with the GPS wirelessly communicates with the right shoe that has a progress bar of lights to show how close you are to the destination. Interesting right? It will be highly helpful for children.

Microsoft to Launch Hand Gesture

Microsoft’s research lab in Cambridge, UK has developed a new way to interact with the digital world using hand gestures. “Digits” uses 3 different IR cameras to track the positions of fingers with respect to each other. One of the applications for this technology includes 3-D spacial interaction with a mobile device. By assigning gestures to certain functions, the user could conceivably control any aspect of a device. This also allows for vision free control of the device. In example used in Microsoft’s video, they assigned the the “thumb’s up” to answer an incoming call. Other applications include sign language interpretation and endless possibilities for gaming. Could this be the new controller for X Box 720? Guess we will have to wait to find out.

        Apple launched the iPhone 5S & the iPhone 5C amidst huge hype and brouhaha over its features and pricing, most of which were already leaked out pretty accurately. We bring to you all the information you would need to know about the iPhone 5S & iPhone 5C.   Apple iPhone 5S Features & Pricing in India Display & Body The display on the iPhone 5S remains the same at 4.0 inches with a pixel density of 326 ppi. As expected, the design is also the same as the iPhone 5. 64 bit A7 chip and M7 motion co-processor The iPhone 5S comes with the new A7 chip which Apple claims to be the world’s first 64 bit desktop-class architecture in a smartphone. Apparently Huawei Ascend D Quad launched in Feb 2012 last year also boasted of a 64 bit chipset. M7 motion coprocessor gathers data from the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass to offload work from the A7 for improved power efficiency. Apple has allowed developers’ access to the new CoreMotion APIs that take advantage of M7, thus allowing them to create better fitness and activity apps. Touch ID – Fingerprint Scanner Built into the home button, Touch ID uses a laser cut sapphire crystal, together with the capacitive touch sensor, to take a high-resolution image at about 550ppi of your fingerprint. Touch ID will allow you to authenticate Appstore purchases and app updates besides providing security lock to the iPhone 5S. 8MP iSight Camera with True Tone Flash The iPhone 5S boasts of a new 8MP iSight camera, which features a larger f/2.2 aperture and a new, larger sensor with 1.5μ pixels for better sensitivity and low-light performance. The camera has capability to shoot 10 frames-per-second in burst mode, and 120 frames-per-second slow motion video at 720p. The dual LED Flash, called the True Tone Flash by Apple adjusts colour and intensity for over 1,000 combinations to give better images under dark light conditions. Colours The new iPhone 5S now comes in three new different colours called Gold, Silver and Space Grey. Apple has also introduced new leather covers for the device with 6 colours to choose from i.e. beige, black, blue, brown, yellow and red. iOS 7 The iPhone 5S comes with iOS 7, Apple’s latest redesigned UI along with the option to download the iWorks apps Suite for free which includes iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps that are otherwise paid for apps. Availability and Pricing The iPhone 5S is priced at $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB on two-year contract in the US, while you can expect it to be priced at around Rs. 50,000 in India for the 16GB version and upwards for the others. The iPhone 5S will be available starting Sep 20th in the US, while it is expected to be made available in India sometime during mid-November.   Apple iPhone 5C Features & Pricing in India Body & Design The iPhone 5C comes in a new polycarbonate shell design which we feel, resembles the Nokia Lumia 620 a bit. While the iPhone 5C will be made available in the US on the 20th of September, it is expected to arrive in India only by the mid week of November. iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5: Pricing & Availability The iPhone 4 has been discontinued by Apple and as such won't be officially available in the market. You can expect the iPhone 4S to get a price drop and become available at Rs. 25,000 for the 8GB version. The iPhone 5 has been discontinued, though the existing users have no reason to worry as the device will keep getting timely updates in the future.

Twitter, the social media site, is under pressure in Britain to make it easier for Internet users to report abuse after more than 30,000 people petitioned it over the case of a feminist campaigner  As the girl was "targeted repeatedly with rape threats" by ill-wishers, according to an online petition,  authorities called on Twitter to urgently add a 'report abuse' button to its service.

New "electronic textiles" could help monitor the activities of patients with chronic illnesses. Computer engineers have developed pants with sensors embedded in the fabric that measure speed, rotation and flexing, and send wireless signals to a computer. Researchers plan to integrate computers into shirts, hats and gloves. Interesting right? Of course useful it is too.

Mozilla to Enter Mobile Race

Mozilla, who are renowned for their successful internet browser, are entering the mobile race, developing a new web-centric OS that will directly compete with Google, Apple and Microsoft. Announced on the Mozilla discussion forum, Mozilla have begun coding for phones and tablets. The BBC revealed the mobile operating system will draw on Android code, with Mozilla writing as much fresh code as possible. The hybrid-like operating system will be named Boot To Gecko.   If the venture proves successful, Mozilla will be waging war against industry giants, with Google, Apple and Microsoft dominating many facets of the technological world.

HTC really wants you to know that its megapixels are BIGGER than the megapixels on competing cameras. That's why they're so ULTRA. Fewer pixels on an identical surface area means the pixels are bigger. Both the HTC One and Lumia 920 have a 1/3-inch sensor, but the 920 has 8.7-megapixels compared to the HTC One's 4MP. That's why the HTC One has larger 2-micrometers pixels whereas the 920 only has 1.4-micrometer pixels.

After its vast service in PC, laptop making, HP is tuning up to enter into the race of smart phone.   Eesha khare, a student of Lynbrook high school in saratoga invented a capicitor, which can charge a phone battery within 30 sec.khare's invention was honored with young scientist award at intel international science and engineering award.she developed a new supercapacitor, which is basically an energy storage device which can hold a lot of energy in a small amount of volume, she told KPIX 5 may also be able to speed up charging of automobile batteries. The award includes a $50,000 prize that will come in handy when Khare heads to Harvard in the fall, With a laugh, she predicted that "I will be setting the world on fire." if we can really charge our phone's within 30 sec,we can save power and power charges.
