India beat Australia in Hyderabad

    India have demoralised Australia by taking a two-nil lead in their four-Test series with a massive victory by an innings and 135 runs on Tuesday. The home side’s win in Hyderabad came at lunch on day four with spinners Ravi Ashwin (5-63) and Ravindra Jadeja (3-33) in dominant form. Resuming on day four on 2-74, Australia were bowled out for 131.It’s Australia’s first innings defeat since the 2010-11 Ashes series. SIMS victims stage rally and Dharna at Vizag

  Secured Investment Making Services (SIMS) which duped more than 45,000 people in north coastal Andhra, East and West Godavari districts for an amount of Rs.500 crores total indicates that neither the people nor the government have learned any lessons from the past.   Majority of the victims are from lower income groups and middle class sections, who were lured by the SIMS of attractive interests, gifts like plots and vehicles have invested their hard earned money only to be cheated by the Company. Neither the government takes any initiative to prevent this kind of white collar crimes nor do the people stop themselves from taking bait thrown such con gangs.   More than 2000 victims flown in from Srikakulam to West Godavari district have staged a rally at Vishakhapatnam on Monday. SIMS Bhaditula Sangham (Victims’ Association) accused the local MLAs and Minister Ganta Srinivasa rao for keeping cool on their case only because several big heads ranging from police department to government officials were involved in the multi crore frauds. The victims said they are planning to stage dharna before Assembly during the upcoming sessions, if the police fail to justify their case. Police fails to make any progress in this case except arresting the SIMS CMD K. Surendra Gupta.

Court grants interim bail to Shankarao

  Nampalli Court has grnated anticipatory bail to former Minister Shankarao in connection with a case filed by Nerdmet police for misbehaving with them during his arrest on January 31st. Shankarao is also facing another case related to Green Fields case, but absconding arrest on health grounds. When, he was arrested by the police, he was blessed with huge support from backward classes and Congress leaders and ministers. Hence, the case seems to be shelved for time being. However, when CID has served summons to him, he skips questioning on health grounds.

Queen Elizabeth 2 Hospitalized

        Queen Elizabeth II, who is 86, was admitted to a London hospital on Sunday after experiencing symptoms of gastroenteritis, according to a statement issued by Buckingham Palace.   The statement said that all the queen’s engagements for the next week would be postponed or canceled, including a two-day visit to Italy that was scheduled to begin Wednesday. She had already skipped one event, a military parade in the Welsh city of Swansea on Friday, because of the illness. A palace spokesman described the queen’s hospitalization on Sunday as “a precautionary measure. sources said the queen was expected to remain in the hospital for about two days. Emphasizing that there had been no emergency, the palace said that the queen was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital in central London from Windsor Castle, a distance of 20 miles, by private car. Other than the gastroenteritis symptoms, the spokesman said, the queen was in good health and “in good spirits,” and she was moved to the hospital “simply to enable doctors to better assess her.” When the news broke, a crowd of well-wishers gathered behind police barriers outside the hospital’s main entrance.

Terrorists conduct recce in 9 places!

  Imran Khan and Sayed Muqbul who were deported from Tihar jail to Hyderabad for interrogation by National Investigating Agency (NIA) was shocked to know that they have selected 7 highly crowded areas out of 12 of the Hyderabad twin cities for bomb blasts, for which they conducted recce in the city. NIA teams have taken them to all the spots where they have conducted recce.   NIA gathered crucial information from the duo. Later, they have arrested two youngsters from Old city in Hyderabad with the leads given by the duo, who were alleged to be co-operated them in their recce operation. Another shocking revelation is the duo and their associates have used Rs.10 lakh fake currency during their operation in the recent bomb blasts.   NIA has noted that one Mr. Rahisuddin of the two that they have arrested now has been also arrested in Macca bomb blasts case, but released as the police couldn’t find any solid evidence against him. However, when Imran and Sayed named him again, NIA has arrested and questioning him. Investigating teams are searching for terrorist Tabriz, whose image has been captured in the CC cameras in Dilshuk Nagar. Investigating teams landed at Azham Ghad in UP state Tabriz, which is said to be the native town of Tabriz.   Apart from NIA, Mumbai Anti Terrorist Squad’s officials, Karnataka Police have been interrogating the arrested youth.

Congress counters Modi speech

  Whenever someone raises finger against Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, leaders of Congress party will jump at once to attack the concerned but, not to defend their party Chiefs but to get noted by their top two. A Chain of reactions to Modi’s speech can be witnessed in the next few days from several small and big leaders of the Congress party.   To begin with Union Minister Rajiv Shukla has said “Modi over estimates himself as if he was a national leader by speaking against our leaders. Actually, he is not eligible to talk about national issues or national leaders as he doesn’t have enough experience or knowledge in politics. Moreover, the language he has used in his speech is unparliamentary need to be condemned. If, BJP is so fond of President Pranab Mukharji, then why it did not voted him during presidential elections? Why did it support Sangma instead of Pranab Mukharji? Modi should not forget that the then Prime Minister AB Vajpayee has condemned the brutal massacre in Gujarat lead by him. Modi is projecting himself larger than life image at the cost of exchequer. His entire speech is filled with lies and false allegations to distract the people. But people are aware about his back ground.”

Narendra Modi plays his cards well

  During the two day council meetings held at New Delhi, Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, who is expected to be declared as the Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP has played his cards very well with his speech.   He has tried to create rift within Congress party by stating President Pranab Mukharji was elbowed out from being Prime Minister by Sonia Gandhi. He said If, he would be in PM Chair now, India’s condition would be definitely far better than Dr.Manmohan Singh’s ruling. Modi opined Pranab was betrayed of his opportunity to rule the country as PM only because of Sonia Gandhi.   He opined Dr.Manmohan Singh is just acting as a ‘Night watch man’ of the country instead of taking it ahead. He flayed of being remotely operated by Sonia Gandhi. Modi said the country can’t expect any development in the monarch ruling of Gandhi-Nehru family. The country has paid dearly for carrying the Gandhi-Nehru family on its head.   He also pointed out at several scams surfaced during the UPA regime and said the Congress party is busy collecting its commissions as if it was their agent. He said people were wondering whether there is government or not in the country.   He said only BJP can wipe out the corruption from the country. Congress has offered nothing except corruption, price hike and insecurity to the people of the country. Hence, BJP has a tough task ahead to deal with, said Modi. He hoped people will take a wise decision by electing BJP to power in the forthcoming elections.

KCR opines no harm with Babli?

  TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao, who claims beginning the fight against Babli Project, has made a confusing speech while addressing the newly formed Telangana Women JAC. While, condemning the Babli, he said there is no harm with it, because the Supreme Court has constituted a 3 member committee for supervising the water distribution between Andhra and Maharashtra states.   Speaking on the occasion he said “We came to know that Maharashtra government is allowing its farmers to draw waters from the reservoir above the Babli project for their agriculture use. We have to stop them from doing so. I don’t think there is any major threat with the dam as the three-member committee will ensure proper supply of our due share of water to the state. TDP has been playing unnecessary drama over this issue to gain political mileage out of this issue. If it is so worried about the people of Telangana, then why it didn’t made any protests with Potireddy Padu and other projects that harm the interests of the Telangana farmers?”   He appears to be much concerned about TDP’s intervention in this matter than loosing waters with the Babli dam.

Alerted BJP pushes Modi to front lines

  Congress has made a significant move to detach Bihar CM Nitish Kumar from NDA alliance, who is opposing Gujarat CM Narendra Modi’s candidature for Prime Minister Post. Hence, Finance Minister Chidambaram in his budget speech in Parliament has expressed his concern for the backwardness of Bihar state and declared he has ear marked certain amount especially for its improvement. Though, there are several other states in the country that are par with Bihar situation, FM’s special interest in Bihar hints extending friendship hand to Nitish Kumar. Congress believes that it is the only way to stop BJP lead NDA from stalling Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate. Nitish Kumar, who also keen to develop his state rather than indulging in politics has welcomed FM’s proposal.   Obviously, this unpredicted move made by Congress party leaves BJP in deep shock, which is so far confident of convincing Nitish Kumar about Modi’s candidature. It seems BJP understood that Nitish Kumar has drifted away from NDA alliance and hence pressed panic button by pushing its savior Narendra Modi to front lines in its yesterday council meeting held at New Delhi. BJP President Rajnath Singh was all praises to Modi, which in other words hints his support for Narendra Modi’s candidature.   Although, it was not yet officially confirmed it is evident and just a matter of time for an official announcement. Once, Narendra Modi is given charge the reins to lead the party in the elections, definitely he is going to handle the matters like this in his own style.

Transtrai likely to retain Polavaram

  The Polavaram project which came to a standstill with shocking revelation of filing fake experience of the Transtrai Company’s Russian partner, has creates havoc among the political circles for it belongs to Congress MP Rayapati Sambhasiva rao. The government even sent investigating teams to Russia and China to enquire about the Russian Company’s credentials and experience in handling such big projects.   However, the teams have found it neither has any required experience to handle such big tasks nor its documents pertaining to the Polavaram are genuine. Hence, there were expectations of cancelling the agreement made between the state government and Transtrai Company. But, to the surprise of everyone, the high power committee constituted to give its report and recommendations on this agreement has suggested the government to let the Transtrai continue the work as scrapping of the agreement may lead to financial losses to exchequer and valuable time also. Hence, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy may approve the committee suggestions in a couple of days.   According to opposition, Rayapati was given Polavaram project to refrain from decedent activities and to avert launching of Samaikyandhra agitations.

Shankar rao skips CID interrogation

  Former Minister Shankar rao, who hits the news headlines for all the wrong reasons during January, again back into focus with CID serving summons to him asking to attend before it on Saturday between 1-2 pm for questioning. However, he sent his lawyer instead of attending personally vowing to his health complications.   He was able to escape the police custody due to the unprecedented support from the backward classes’ organizations and the ruling Congress government leaders. But, his refusal to co-operate with CID team constituted to enquire into his humiliating arrest by the Nerdmet police and his daughter’s consequent reactions of complaining in local police station against CM, DGP and others, her letter to party high command with same complaint might have made the government to go ahead with Shankar rao’s case. However, his cast card may again insulate him from the CID probing.

T-Women JAC formed

  T-JAC which seems took a long interval in Telangana agitations and has been concentrating on the elections these days, seems back to its fighting-mode. It has formed a 29 member strong team of T-Women JAC on yesterday to ensure the Telangana women too take active part in their agitations. Indeed, it would be a wise decision taken by T-JAC of sharing platform with Telangana women. It will definitely attract the women into the agitations and strengthen the hands of T-JAC. So far, the Telangana agitations are considered to be the men’s job only. But, with the formation of the TWJAC, the agitations may reach next level.   But, the million dollar question is shall KCR and Prof.Kodhandaram allows them to take reins from their hands, when they have not considered Vijaya Shanti, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, BJP and TDP in dealing with UPA government. The members of this new forum will shortly elect their governing body.

Kiran welcomes no-confidence move by opposition

  CM Kiran Kumar Reddy during his meeting with media on Friday has talked about several serious issues including the opposition’s plan of serving no confidence move on his government. He said “I have been waiting for them to put no-confidence motion against my government. I am not afraid of their threats. I challenge them to do it if they can.   ” Responding to another question about expelling Jagan’s loyalists and taking disciplinary action against decedents “We will take right decision in right time,” said CM. He opined the Supreme Court judgment on Babli project is not harmful to state interests or to farmers. He said the state representative in the three member committee will ensure the safeguarding the interests of the state. Hence, he opined there is nothing to worry about Babli project.   CM said the surcharge levied on the electrical bills is not the idea of his government but it was a decision taken by the APSEB. Hence, he can’t be made accountable for the hike in the power bills. Kiran Kumar Reddy said that he will talk later about the elections of 10 MLCs as the time is not appropriate for it now. Overall he shrugs off the problems that he is expected to address or to resolve with great ease.

        ఇండియా..ఆస్ట్రేలియా మధ్య రెండో టెస్ట్ మ్యాచ్ ఉప్పల్ స్టేడియంలో ఈ రోజు ప్రారంభమైంది. టాస్ గెలిచిన ఆసీస్ మొదట బ్యాటింగ్ చేయడానికి నిర్ణయించుకుంది. కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం హైదరాబాద్ లో పేలుళ్లు జరిగిన నేపధ్యంలో ఈ మ్యాచ్ కు పోలీసులు భారీ భద్రతను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. తొలి ఇన్నింగ్స్ లో మొదట బ్యాటింగ్ కు దిగిన ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఆదిలోనే రెండు వికెట్లు కోల్పోయింది. వార్నర్ 6 పరుగుల వద్ద భువనేశ్వర్ కుమార్ క్లీన్ బౌల్డ్ చేశాడు. ఆతరువాత కోవాన్ కూడా నాలుగు పరుగులు చేసి భువనేశ్వర్ బౌలింగ్ లో ఎల్బీగా వెనుదిరిగాడు. ప్రస్తుతం ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఆరు ఓవర్లు ముగిసే సరికి 19 పరుగులతో ఆడుతోంది.
