Congress might have granted Telangana state, but it doesn’t mean that TRS will fall into its lap as promised earlier. It may not even agrees for poll alliance with it, because TRS is expecting a clean sweep in 2014 elections and the survey reports are also confirming the same. However, it has to keep the heat on until the elections otherwise, any unexpected political development may ruin its electoral chances.

So, TRS, which can’t afford to board a sinking ship of Congress party, has to find some good reasons to distance away from it and at the same time should find good reasons to continue its fight till elections. Hence, TRS leaders are attending a meeting today in Telangana Bhavan, presided by their president KCR to take a look at the Telangana draft bill approved by the Union Cabinet meeting yesterday.

Already some of TRS leaders have raised objections on keeping the law and order control of Hyderabad under Governor. So, many such points may be underlined during this meeting and they may chalk-out an action plan to start protests and dharnas to keep the fire alive. If, the Congress fails to get the T-bill approved in the Parliament, it will be enough to recharge TRS to its full capacity and to draw swords against Congress party.
