Shivaji shoots letter to Venkaiah

Actor Shivaji, who catches some limelight with his fast-unto death strike conducted at Guntur few days ago, demanding special status for the AP state seems, is inconclusive about his next step. So, he shoots an open letter to union urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu with a questionnaire on his statements, commitments and efforts for special status.

He asked the minister whether he ever puts any efforts to get special status for the state. He asked why he is trying to give lame excuses when the Prime Minister can grant special status to the state within five minutes using his discretional powers. He asked whether the BJP is really keen to develop the state or not. He asked many silly questions like why he is not speaking on behalf of the state?

But, his open letter discloses his ignorance on this issue and the complications involved. If, he believes that the Prime Minister can grant special status to the state within five minutes using his discretional powers, then he would have granted it long ago. Even if the Prime Minister tries to prolong it for any reasons, CM Chandrababu Naidu and his party leaders won’t let him to do so. They will certainly pressurize him to announce special status to the state in the very first cabinet meeting itself, like they made him announce merger of seven mandals of Khammam district with the AP state that submerges under Polavaram project. So, Shivaji should study about the conditions and the process involved in granting special status to any state before speaking about it.
