There were times when TRS activists used to disrupt the film shootings in and around Hyderabad. They forced the film industry to think about shifting to Vizag or some other place in the AP due to this non-stop nonsense. But, the film industry couldn’t afford to move out from the city as it is well established there. So, many of them have tried to strike a chord with TRS and its Chief KCR before and after bifurcation of the state. But, unfortunately his reaction is negative.

 

KCR, who wants everything to be separated, also wants a separate film industry for Telangana. So is he is planning to develop a Cinema City at Rachakonda in Nalgonda district. But, his daughter MP Kavita seems to be realized that film industry is nothing but a golden duck that lays golden eggs for the Telangana state as long as its interests are safeguarded. So, she takes initiative to talk with her father KCR and convinced him to declare incentives to the Telugu Film Industry instead of chasing it away from the city.

 

She declared “Our government will convert the city into a film shooting hub. We are planning to give incentives to the film makers who shoot their films in and around the city.” Sounds great!
