Home minister to announce T state in Parliament

Union Minister Rajiv Shukla has assured the agitating T-TDP MPs in the house that home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will make an announcement on Telangana in the Parliament after question hour on August 12th. But, the sudden change in political scenario in the state with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s statement opposing division of the state may affect this promise too. Whether, Congress can go ahead with its decision or slowdown the process to be seen.
If, Congress wants to proceed with its bifurcation plan, then it has to replace CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to ensure there are no hurdles any further. But, it is not so easy in the present circumstances, as it is highly impossible to find a neutral person acceptable to both regions. So, obviously, it has no other option but to impose President’s Rule on the state if it wants to proceed with its bifurcation plans.
