Former minister Shankar rao, who was arrested by the Nerdmet police in the Green Fields case two months ago was able to come out of the problem with great ease by playing a high drama during his arrest. He was succeeded in drawing the attention of his party leaders as well as the backward sections with his high drama. Obviously, he scares the police to touch him any further.

The consequent developments taken place after his arrest are a fine example of his political skills. He obliged CM Kiran Kumar Reddy to order for a CID inquiry onto his humiliating arrest but even then also he made the CID cry by refusing to co-operate with them. Later, his daughter also following her father’s foot steps has wrote a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi complaining against CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy, blaming both are behind her father’s arrest.

Now, Shankar rao has suddenly pops-up before the Speaker today and given him a representation letter demanding for CBI inquiry or for a special committee to inquire into his humiliating arrest. Perhaps, he is still playing his cards well to keep the police away from him as still there is a threat of his arrest in the Green Fields and forgery cases. He is trying to cut short his cases by high lighting his humiliating arrest case to such a level that it makes the police think twice before they give another try on him.
