The proposed ‘sadak bandh’ of Hyderabad-Bangalore highway by TRS, BJP and all the Telangana forums lead by T-JAC today has again lead to confrontation with government as the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has refused permission for their program. CM said that his government will not intervene in the matter as it will be entirely handled by the police department. Hence, TRS and T-JAC takes it serious and have formed several teams lead by its senior leaders to ensure success of their sadak bandh program.
On the other side, around 7000 police were deployed at various points to prevent them blocking the highway road. Police have warned the protestors of facing dire sequences, if participate in sadak bandh program. Already, they have taken several 2nd rank leaders into custody as a preventive measure and booked bind-over cases and several others. T-JAC president Prof.Kodandaram and TRS president KCR and other leaders of the party have reiterated that they will conduct sadak bandh at any cost and they are not afraid of arrests.
