Jagan to Remain in Custody Till 4 July

Kadapa MP and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will have to remain in judicial custody till 4 June. The CBI special court on Monday extended his judicial custody till 4 June 2012. Jagan appeared before court through video conference, though earlier he filed a petiton in the court seeking to appear in person, which the court had dismissed.
Meanwhile, all the accused barring one IAS officer named in the third chargesheet in the case appeared in the court. The court adjourned the hearing to June 28 as Srikakulam district collector Venkatrami Reddy could not appear. The court also adjourned hearing on the bail petitions of industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana and bureaucrat Brahmananda Reddy, who are also lodged in the Chanchalguda jail.
