Finance minister Arun Jaitley has once again went hard against the events that took place in JNU. Jaitley has been speaking to PTI journalists where he has made several remarks regarding the ongoing debate on nationalism and sedation. He felt that the incidents in JNU and Hyderabad University were triggered by `the ultra-Left movements involving a small section of jihadis.’ He slammed the opposition for getting involved in those agitations-
"The moderate Left and the Congress had got trapped into what was otherwise a movement of the ultra-Left." Jaitlsey is of the view that these incidents have raised a debate over nationalism, and BJP has won the debate. Jaitley has even touched the latest issue Bharat mata ki jai slogan "It is not compulsory in this country to raise a slogan (Bharat Mata ki Jai). But it became an issue only when somebody said I take objection and I will not raise it," said the minister hinting at Asaduddin Owaisi.
