Bomb Blast in Bangalore, one killed

 

A woman died and two others were seriously injured in a bomb blast taken place near Coconut Group Hotel, in the Church street of Brigrade Road in Bangalore city on Sunday night. Nine others were also minor injured in this incident.

 

City Poice rushed to the spot within five minutes after the blast and found that the IED bomb was blasted with the electronic detonator. The deceased Bhavani and her relatives after having a dinner, while returning from a nearby hotel, caught in this this bomb blast. While, Bhavani died on the spot her brother Karthik (20) managed to escape with minor injuries. She came from Chennai to Bangalore to celebrate the New Year with her relatives, but unfortunately died in this bomb blast.

 

Forensic experts are collecting the clues from the location. According to preliminary police reports, militants belong to prohibited SIMI terrorist organization might have made this blast. Police have arrested two suspected persons so far. National Investigating Agency sleuths have arrived to Bangalore a short while ago for investigation. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who talked to Chief Minister Sidda Ramaiah yesterday night is also coming to Bangalore today. Union Minister Sadananda Gouda visited the location and also talked with the injured persons in the hospital. Police have declared a high alert in the city.
