Supreme Court dismisses petition against Salman Khan

Advocate Manohar Lal Sharmma representing Sushila Bhai Himmat Rao has filed a petition in Supreme Court. He challenges the Bombay high court verdict given in favor of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in hit and run case. He appeals the apex court to dismiss the bail granted to him by Bombay High court on May 8th this year. The petitioner also appeals the court to order Mahrashtra government to initiate an investigation on the suspicious death actor Salman Khan’s body guard Ravindra Patel during the course of this case.
The apex bench comprising justice FMI Khalifulla and Justice Amitava Roy dismissed the petition stating that they do not believe it is necessary to interfere in the Bombay high court verdict. Hence, peace is assured for actor Salman Khan. No one can make the Bombay high court revive the case against him in future as apex court doesn’t want to interfere in this case.
