BJP plans for emerging as alternate political party in AP

BJP is showcasing an unmatched performance in the every subsequent election held after coming into power at the Centre. It virtually cuts down the grand old Congress party into a regional party level with its latest victory in the Jharkhand state. Hence, BJP may try its hands with the Congress party in the AP and Telangana states next. Earlier, the Seemandhra Congress leaders are used to run the Congress show, but many of them were virtually disappeared post bifurcation. Whoever left in the party are desperately looking for a political asylum. So, BJP taking advantage of this situation may try to attract as many as Congress leaders into the party in the coming days.

If BJP could manage to attract a handful of desperate senior Congress leaders into the party, then they may bring many more into the party, the way those Congress leaders who joined the BJP earlier ropes them into the party. So, once The Congress party is vacated completely, then BJP may focus on the YSR Congress party next.

It is necessary to eliminate the YSR party from its way, if it is really serious to emerge as the alternative political power in the state. As long as Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party is around, BJP can’t create its own space in the state because the people in the state are divided between the ruling TDP and the YSR Congress parties mainly. But, BJP may not immediately take any hasty decisions like the UPA government did to make Jagan to surrender to it. During the course of next four and half years it may gradually close-in on him and his party. The Congress and YSR Congress leaders, who join the BJP, may be assigned to the task of diluting their mother parties. Perhaps, this is the best way for the BJP to emerge as alternative political source in the state.
