HYDERABAD: On Saturday, K Chandrasekhar Rao was invited for an open debate by the Congress party. The debate would be on proposed change of districts as well as the strategic adopted on the issue by the government.

DK Gadwal Aruna has begun a two day hunger strike along with the ex- state Congress president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and A Sampath Kumar who is the MLA of Alampur at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park.

She accused that, the government of TRS is reorganizing districts to derive political benefits without taking a methodical approach in the exercise. She said, “None of the political parties are fully on-board with the government on the proposal. I invite the Chief Minister for a debate and will wait for his response till Sunday evening. If the CM is unable to come to the Dharna Chowk, then he can send K.T Rama Rao or T. Harish Rao on his behalf”.
