Hi... I am Bharath Thammineni, a passionate Story writer, Mountaineer & a Solo Traveller from India, since I completed my graduation I started searching myself where I can find my happiness, thus nature attracted me a lot, from then I travelled to many places in India and outside, I am part of Indian Everest team in the year 2015 where our expedition called off due to major earth quake in Nepal, during that time I carried canon 600D camera with me, for a mountaineer in high altitude it became very difficult in handling the camera because there is no option to keep such cameras warm inside our suit and also it weights much and the battery is draining soon, for that reason I have missed taking many adventurous pics and videos, then I thought for the next expedition I have to plan well.
In April 2017, I made my second attempt to the Mt.Everest expedition and now this was sponsored the Govt of Andhra Pradesh, the selections done in many phases, we have been taken to Sikkim Himalayas, Ladakh Himalayas and the final 6 among 120 members have selected and made it to the Everest, from 6 members 5 (Bharath, Nagaraj, Satya, Teja & Chenna) reached to the summit on 13th May & 16th May respectively, apart from this I have started shooting the videos from the day one.
Already I have been to Everest in 2015 and faced many problems with the cameras, so I thought of thinking which is the alternative for that, in this process I have seen many hoardings in Hyderabad about the Iphone Images, its really a good idea to take good quality camera mobile which can replace the Camera... So I asked my sister to send me Iphone, who lives in Boston, after receiving it I started doing experiments with it in our training... from Darjeeling to Ladakh to Mt.Everest summit I shooted all our adventure activities with Iphone and made this album. It supported very well in all the climates except during the summit night where the climate was around minus -58 degree, so I couldn't shoot the video on the summit, it worked very well till minus -40 degree, I used to protect it very well in my down suit and used to keep close to the body which generates heat even in such cold weather conditions.
Reason for Shooting the video in such dangerous situations:
It was not the mountain which attracted me, it is the Love story which I wrote on the back drop of Everest made me to reach the top... to give the apt feel to the story, first I have to experience the situations at that level... This is the way the journey started... Thank you Iphone...
