Aloo Paratha

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

6 Boiled Potatoes Medium sized

Aamchoor Powder - 1teaspoon

Dhaniya Powder - 1teaspoon

Ajwain (Vamu) - 1/2 teaspoon

Jeera - 1/2 teaspoon

Red Chilli Powder - 1teaspoon

Salt - 1teaspoon

Kasoori Methi (Optional)

Chatmasala - 1teaspoon

Butter or Oil

For Dough:

Whole Wheat Atta

Pinch of Salt

Water

For Serving:

A cup of Curd

Mixed Veg Pickle

 

Preparation:

1)  In a bowl mix Atta and Salt, add enough water and knead into semi stiff dough, Keep it aside.

2) Take another bowl, mash the boiled potatoes and add all the ingredients except oil and mix well.

3) Divide the dough and stuffing into 6 Balls each.

4) Roll the dough into small round roti and place the stuffing on the roti, bring all the sides to center and seal it tightly.

5) Sprinkle some dry flour and slowly roll it again and make round paratha.

6)Heat the Pan(Tawa) and cook the paratha with some oil, until the paratha is  golden brown.

7) Spread a dab of Butter and a pinch of chat masala on the paratha.

8) Repeat the process with remaining dough and make 5 more parathas.

9)Serve the parathas hot with curd or Achar(Mixed Veg Pickle)
