VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly’s three day monsoon session would be held with regard to the ratification of the bills from Thursday. Paving way for the initiation of GST, AP is officially set to sign the constitution bill (122nd Amendment). Four other bills would also be taken up besides Goods and Services Tax during the brief session that would be held at Hyderabad as the new legislature complex’s construction is not completed at Velagapudi near Amaravathi. Bills on amendment of Value Added Tax and Registration Act as well as bills the replacement of an ordinance and on the private horticulture colleges would be introduced along with GST during the monsoon season.
