NEW DELHI: Jitendra Singh, a key delegation member, the minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office said in an interview that, the All-Party delegation that went to Jammu and Kashmir had two opinions over visiting the hospitals to see those who were injured by pellet guns but ultimately decided not to visit. When he was asked about the reason for not visiting the hospitals, Jitendra said that, there was a divided opinion upon visiting the hospitals for various strategic and intelligence reasons that should not to be discussed in public.Singh also said that, the Pakistan’s hand was very obvious and more than evident. He was then asked, “But haven’t the pellet guns used by the Indian forces caused maximum outrage at local level and international forums?”  In response to the question he said that, Pellet guns were in use before they came in. They were introduced in J&k in 2010 when we had UPA government at the Centre and National Conference government in the state, if at all they had done anything, they had tried to find another option in the form of PAVA guns, he added.
