Telangana the 29th State of India-Its official

In a Glittering ceremony Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the newly formed state of Telangana on today. He took the oath of office along with his council of ministers at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad at 8.15 am by E.S.L. Narasimhan, who was sworn in as the Governor of Telangana at 6.15 am earlier in the morning. KCR and his 11 members of his cabinet took oath as ministers today.


After the swearing-in ceremony, KCR will attend the official celebrations of Telangana Formation Day at Parade Grounds in Hyderabad at 10:40 AM and take the salute .
Along with KCR a 11 members of his party took the oath as cabinet ministers. They include Mahmood Ali  an MLC, T. Rajaiah , Eetala Rajendar , Nayani Narsimha Reddy ,Dr.Rajaiah represents Warangal , KCR's nephew Harish Rao who very dramatically touched KCRs feet after swearing in,KCR's son K. Tarakarama Rao, P. Mahendar Reddy ,T.Padma Rao , Jagadish Reddy and Jogu Ramanna.


The city of Hyderabad was decorated with lights starting from the secretariat, around the Necklace road and Tank Bund till the Raj Bhavan. The city was painted pink with banners , hoardings and flags of the TRS leaders  and despite a sudden lash of rain playing spoil sport in the night , the weather was back to normal to pave way for the morning swearing in ceremony.


Various personalities s from all fields and walks of life were invited but surprisingly Seemandhra CM designate Mr Chandra Babu Naidu didn’t figure in the list and was not present.
