Bail granted to T-leaders

Alampur court has granted bail to 8 Telangana leaders including T-JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram and T-NGO president Srinivas Goud, after the other three leaders Kaveti Sammayya, Gattu Timmappa and Tummala Ravi, who were absconding from police fearing arrest have surrendered themselves before the court. Prof. Kodandaram and others have submitted personal bonds worth each Rs.10, 000 for the bail.
Before that high drama takes place out side the jail as the Telangana activists staged ‘Dhoom dham’ in front of the main entrance of the jail. Jail officials had a tough time in stopping them from entering the jail. However, they let them meet the T-leaders, only after they got orders from higher officials from the state capital. Prof. Kodandaram and Srinivas Goud, who are government servants, have narrowly escaped suspension from their jobs as they were able to come out on bail before 48 hours of their remand.
