As the GHMC elections are closing in, Telangana CM KCR softens his voice on Andhra people settled in Hyderabad. He claims himself belong to Hyderabad although was born in Medak district. He said his government will not show any discrimination towards settlers in the state. He said the word ‘settlers’ will not be seen in the days to come as his government is treating all people alike. He appealed the Andhra people settled in the state not to take his statements by heart made during peak of the Telangana agitations. He said those statements were purely an emotional ones and not serious opinions. He assured the Andhra people that his government will safeguard their interests and treat them with due respect. So, Andhra people settled in Hyderabad and surrounding areas have to decide to whom they vote now.
