Apply the same thumb rule to Telangana

AP government has made the job easy for Telangana government over crop loans waiver issue. The way it convinced RBI Governor Raghurama Rajan for rescheduling the crop loans and issuing fresh loans to farmers, Telangana government also follows the same pattern to resolve its problem. Nagireddy, the principal secretary of Telangana Finance Ministry wrote a letter to RBI Governor asking to apply the same thumb rule to Telangana farmers also in rescheduling the crop loans. He also mentioned the same reasons that were mentioned by AP government. He writes several areas across the state were either flood affected or draught hit. So, He appeals the Governor to reschedule the crop loans for at least seven years and issue fresh loans to Telangana farmers.
Whether RBI agrees for his request or not, his letter underlines an interesting point that RBI might be rescheduling the AP farmers crop loans for seven years, not for one or two years as guessed by many. If so, this will relieve the pressures from TDP government and can spearhead with its development activities with full spirits.
