Auditor Vijay Sai Reddy on Tuesday filed a petition before the CBI Special Court in Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case. He sought the court to withhold the trial of the case till CBI completes its probe in to the case.
The petitioner, Vijay Sai Reddy contended that it is unlawful to file number of chargesheets in a single case. He also said that the trial of the case under first chargesheet can not be taken up till the probe hasn't been completed by the investigation agency. It is also not proper to issue number of summons and chargesheets in a single case. Hence the petitioner Vijay Sai Reddy sought cancellation of summons issued in the first chargesheet.
