Hitherto we have been hearing about political leaders fighting with each other in the Assembly and Parliaments only. Now they have started fighting on the streets as well! Something bizzare like that happened at a public event in the Secunderabad Contonement area today. Malkajgiri MP Sarve Satyanarayana and Handlooms & Textiles Minister Shankar Rao have almost fought on the road over the order of their names on the school inauguration plaque.
Minister Shankar Rao attended as chief guest to an inauguration function of a school building in Secunderabad Contonement area. Local MP Sarve Satyanarayana also attended the function. He got flared up when saw that his name was placed at below below the names of officers at sixteenth place. As per protocol, his name should have come after the minister. Satyanarayana raised his voice on the concerned DEO for the goof up, when the minister Shankar Rao intervened and spoke in favour of the officer. This led to a verbal duel between MP and the minister. The duo used choicest abuses and pushed each other. The MP fell down in the scuffle and minister left the place in a huff thereafter.
