Former TDP MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav resigned to his MLA post to escape disqualification, before joining into CM KCR’s cabinet as a Minister. But, he claims that he quits his MLA post to uphold the ethics in the politics. However, he is still continuing as MLA as the Speaker Madhusudhanachary has not approved his resignation till today.

 

TDP leader Revanth Reddy asked “Why the Speaker is not approving his resignation when Talasani Yadav is claiming that he resigns to uphold the ethics in the politics. Are you facing any pressures from the CM KCR? If not, speaker should explain why he is not approving his resignation. Talasani claims that he introduced a good tradition by quitting his MLA post before joining the TRS. But, TRS appears to be setting up a new tradition by holding his resignation letter. CM KCR boasts that he maintains high morale in the politics. Is this what he is maintaining? He should explain what stops them from approving Talasani’s resignation and when it will be approved?”
