The political victims

Congress party might have technically won the FDI bill in Loksabha on yesterday bagging 253 out of 471 members present in the house at the time of voting, but at the same time it exhibits the weakness of the UPA government. Ever since, the debate on FDI begins in the parliament it turns a nightmare to Congress high command.
Its ‘big boss’ attitude among its allies, and the blackmailing politics by its allies makes Congress very vulnerable in every other issue that comes before parliament. DMK, the one time close ally of Congress party is angry with it for jailing their darling daughter Kanimoli in Teehar Jail for months. It simply grabs this opportunity to make the Congress beg its pardon for everything. Then only DMK Chief Karunanidhi agrees to support the UPA only on this single issue of FDI bill in the parliament.
The story is some what different with SP and BSP. Both these parties scare the Congress until the nick of the moment of the FDI voting. Both these parties, which troubles with Congress domination in Uttar Pradesh, which again alters their political status in the state, honestly hates to go along with it, yet they have to standby it to keep their political interests safeguarded and to overcome the cases they have involved. In other words, both the Congress party and the two nabs each other on their weak points at every opportunity they gets all the time. That is how the SP and BSP play ‘undercover operation’ in favor UPA government in Loksabha.
It would be great fun to watch both these parties lashing at UPA out side the parliament stating, the FDI bill is going to ruin the poor farmers and the cultivation in the country. When they honestly believe that it would be harmful to the farmers, they would have voted against the bill instead of staging a ‘strategic walk-out’ allowing to pass the bill. This itself, explains us about their ‘dual game policy’ on this issue. Actually, they want to bluff the people by walking out of the parliament protesting the FDI bill, so as to make the people believe them that they are really opposing the bill, while they both actually helping the UPA to bring the bill. It is merely nothing but their ignorance to believe that the people lack the knowledge about this subject and can’t understand their political game plans.
Finally, all these things arises a question. Who are the political victims in this whole affair? Is it UPA or its allies or the people of the country are the real victims in this case? Let us decide.
