The monsoon sessions of Parliament were concluded today without conducting any business due to disruptions by Congress and its partners. The situation remains unchanged till last minute of the sessions. Congress, Trunamool Congress, Left parties, Samajwadi party and RJD have staged a walk-out from the house, when Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to conduct question hour. Later, she declares house adjourned sign die.
Rajya Sabha also witnessed same situation and it was also adjourned sine die. The Modi government is quite disappointed for failing to pass the crucial GST Bill through upper house despite passing in the lower house. Hardly six questions were answered and four matter of public importance were raised during this entire session.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is sad to declare that the house lost 34 hours of business due to this disruption by Congress and its partners. Congress party may brings both houses to stand still position to showcase its muscle power to Narendra Modi government, which is under estimating its vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
