Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi has extended his greetings today to the people of Telangana and the new Chief Minister of Telangana through his tweets. What seemed a like positive assuance from the Centers side which the CM of Telangana would be needing in plenty , the PM tweeted the following:

• Congrats to K Chandrasekhar Rao Garu on taking oath as Telangana's 1st CM!
• We welcome Telangana as our 29th state. Telangana will add strength to our development journey in the coming years!

• Centre assures complete support to the people & Government of Telangana in taking the state to newer heights of progress!
