AP government to conduct Municipal elections soon

Andhra Pradesh state cabinet meeting was held today at Hyderabad. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who presides this meeting is reportedly agreed to conduct the elections for Vizag, Kakinada, Guntur, Kurnool and Tirupati Municipal corporations as early as possible. Telangana government also agreed to conduct the GHMC elections very soon. So, once again both states may witness a hectic political activity, when the political leaders of all parties start mudslinging game.
First of all, TDP and BJP have to decide whether to continue their alliance in the Municipal elections or not. It may change the game rules and political strengths. If, they agree to continue their alliance, then the YSR Congress party may have to sweat a lot to win the elections, otherwise it may take away at least one or two municipal corporations in the AP state very easily.
The same thumb rule can be applied for GHMC elections also. If TDP and BJP contest separately, it will help the ruling TRS party otherwise it has to put some extra efforts to win the elections. MIM party is already going hand in hand with TRS party. Now, the YSR Congress party also may join them, but only after the elections.
Need not to say anything about the Congress party. Hardly, it may few seats in the GHMC elections but not a single seat in the AP. Losing election deposit in the Tirupati bye-elections proves that Congress party situation was not improved yet.
