The ruling TDP and the main opposition party YSR Congress leaders are blaming each other for burning of crops in some villages in Thullur Mandal, where the locals are not willing to depart with their lands. YSR Congress party is demanding for a CBI inquiry into this matter.

 

Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, who visited the villages today, alleges that Jagan Mohan Reddy may be behind this conspiracy. He warned that he will not spare anyone found involved in this barbaric incident.

 

This incident may escalate tensions in the villages and thus create unexpected problems in the land acquisition process to be started from tomorrow. So, the government should react swiftly and nab the culprits at the earliest.

 

According to police, two unidentified persons wearing black color face masks indulged in this heinous crime. Police stated that the duo has indulged in such criminal activities few weeks back also, but they went un-noticed as they were not so serious crimes. The duo hurled empty cool drink bottles into a local temple. Police suspect that they may be either some anti-social elements or psychos. Police teams are searching for them.
